Hey Wendy and Heidi,

Wendy - hope you enjoyed S&G. I will be hitting that on Monday. I decided to do TB instead of Plyo this time to be safe so I don't have any setbacks. I may consider it when it comes up next or toward the end of the rotation.

Heidi - I actually had no time for AT yesterday so I did Leg Express premix today after TB. I was tired, but still wanted to get AT in so I figured the leg portion was a perfect add on to TB. You are right, AT is fun. I will do the whole program next time.

BTW, how do you change your status (Member, Cathlete, etc.)? Is that something the forum administrator does?

Michelle: Nice job on your workout today! :) Good for you taking it one step at a time with new workouts too.

As for the Status for member etc. I believe this was done by the adminstrator. I have been with Cathe's Forum for quite some time. ;)

Before the sun set this evening I got in a brisk 2miler with my DH. ;) Nice to get out and get some fresh air. The days are growing longer so this is perfect for me to gear up for my outdoor running again. :)

Yesterday was a busy day with house chores and errands. I did get in a 40min itread #17.

Today is a holiday and people are underfoot. Not sure what I will do just yet.

Michelle: I hope things are working out for you on getting in your w/o's. What does your schedule look like for the week? ;)

Hi Heidi,

You go girl on the two miler with DH and the tread yesterday. How is your calf doing?

My lower back was a little achy yesterday from the Thu lower back workout and I got up late, so Chest and Back are on the agenda for tonight. I am going to sub in some stab ball work for the lower back portion of STS. This is an area of my body that I haven't worked on in awhile so I need to work it gradually. I did TB and AT Leg Express on Sat, I will do S&G for the first time tomorrow, then will do BIS/TRIS/SHOULDERS on Thu. Pretty much sticking to the rotation, but having to tweak some when I miss and/or due to schedule. I may have to cut down on some of the LIS cardio portions and do pre-mixes due to time contraints, but I am good with that so I don't feel pressure and something is better than nothing.

Well we had fun in ac but we had to cut it short. Got home y'day afternoon. DS got sick saturday night and even though his fever had dropped by Sunday morning, we didn't want to take the chance so we came home a day early. Y'day I cooked dinner. Made this Pork Tenderloin with Onions and Dried Cranberries Recipe | MyRecipes.com but left out the cranberries and subbed in broccolli for the spinach in the side. Served the meat on mashed potatoes. YUMMY! We watched episode 4 of Star Wars while we ate. (We started watching them from episode 1 last weekend)
Today I am making this for dinner. Pasta with Roasted Butternut Squash and Shallots Recipe | MyRecipes.com We'll probably watch more Star Wars while we eat.

So since we came home early you know I couldn't NOT work out today! :p I kinda reversed the order of week 3 of the rotation because I wasn't in the mood for lifting so I started with the last work out of the week and did CSS instead. :)

I did 4DS LIS this morning in place of LIC. Did it on an 8" step for the first time...by accident! :p I liked it though! So much so that I did the finished combos segment 2x! :)

Wendy - you are so cute --- you couldn't pass up working out since you were home, right? And an 8 inch step? Yikes! I would like to work up to that eventually. And those meals sound yummy!!! :D

I did Chest and Back last night, Disc 25, I believe it was, Meso 3 so it was heavy, but I did well.

LIS S&G tonight for the first time. Can't wait!

No worries, Michelle. In good time you will work up to my level of work out obsession/enjoyment! ;) I didn't get like this overnight! LOL Have fun with S&G! It's a goody! Lots of fun and harder then it looks! :eek: I can only do low impact step routines on 8". I normally use 6" and only 4" (platform only) on any new routine that I am just learning.

My calf is doing great Michelle! I did a trail run with my DD on Monday and it was ok. I did have some DOMS in my shins and hamstrings but all good. :)

Monday was a JM circuit and a trail run
Tues: I did STS #5. YUP feeling some DOMS today. ;) Increasing the weights just a tad is a pain with the magnet weights I have. They are about 1/4# each. I have to add quite a few to my DB's so it looks silly. LOL! I should get some plate weights which I think are easier to deal with.

Today is a run. QUICK! I have to drive out of town for a meeting with DH. It is going to be a long day!!!!

P90X Legs and Back for me today in lieu of either STS Plyo Legs or Turbo Barre. Loved the extra back work! Can't go wrong with extra pull ups, ladies! ;):D

P90X CST was on the schedule but I overslept so I did S&G Muscle Conditioning premix instead. Over the next 3 days I have to do both X upper body work outs (CST and BB) and the cardio premix (maybe double?) of S&G. After that it's a rest day and then on to week #4 on Tuesday! :D

Yesterday was a hectic day with lots of driving and meetings. I did get that run a d it was awesome. ;)

Today was another bust one and no w/o as of yet.

Hello....

Y'day was the Double Trouble Premix of Slide and Glide which is the cardio segment done twice back to back. Really awesome work out!:)

Today was CST done ala Gym Styles + Med Ball Abs from Ab Circuits using my UGI ball in place of a med ball. Another awesome work out!:D

Tomorrow is Back and Biceps ala P90X....BRING IT!:cool:

Chest is on fiyah today because *I* DID the drop sets of push ups that were in my w/o y'day unlike someone else who checks in here! *ahem* LOL :p

Sorry, this will be quick as I am on my phone. Busy last few days with a party, etc and cannot log on from my computer as I got a worm from the forum so a bit scared to log on till the webmaster addresses it. Another gal was getting what sounded like the same warnings.

Still doing sts Lis. Lis total body tri upper tonite.

S & G was good last week, but i needed more cardio so will do dbl trbl next time.

Hope u r doing well.

Today was my rest day. Tmrw I begin week 4 of the rotation.

Glad you enjoyed S&G, Michelle. The Double Trouble premix is great cardio but the muscle conditioning is not included in it just so you know. :)
