I have a stepmill and it has always read my Polar F11 HRM. Well, today it decided it didn't want to. The little heart would blink like it was trying to, and sometimes, a HR would display, but it wasn't right - way too low. My Polar watch was reading the HR fine. The treadmill read it too. I kept trying it on the stepmill and it worked very, very briefly (like about 1 second). The transmitter that came with the stepmill seemed to work ok, then I tried my regular one and it briefly was right (that would be the 1 second mentioned) and then quit again, just flashing the heart. Why on earth would this be? The stepmill has always shown the HR consistently - that number is always displayed on the screen. I appreciate any help.
