Stability Ball Videos??

Hi Everyone,

I am anxiously awaiting the IS series on dvd and have already purchased my stability ball. I tried the video that came with the ball but it was very basic. Has anyone tried a stability ball video that would help prepare for the more intense moves that Cathe uses. I would really like to achieve good balance & control before attempting the new videos.

On another note....those of you who are currently doing the videos that require the 14" step, do you think a sturdy step stool would be safe enough for the moves? I checked on buying risers for my step company step and it would cost $75x( .

Thanks!! Love this new forum layout!

i've also been looking for a stability ball workout. the only one i have found that sounds like a good workout (I have yet to purchase it) is from Gin Miller. I can't remember the name of it, but if you go to her website....GinMiller.com....it is on there. it is not the tone, trim and tighten one. I can't remember the name, but on the cover of the video, she is doing a pushup on the ball....with feet on the floor and hands on the ball and the ball is blue. it's not that expensive either. if you go to videofitness.com, they have reviews from actual users and so does collagevideo.com. good luck. the ball is an excellent toning device, it is just really hard finding a great video to go with it.

Stability Ball Ab Video

Hi,
Due to some recommendations at Videofitness, I recently got a very challenging Stability Ball workout for Abs. It's called Awesome Abs on the Ball, and it is made by Spri (2001). It is about 25 mins. long and it has some very challenging moves. You do V-ups starting with the ball in your hands, then while you are in the V-up position, you pass the ball to between your feet, then you go back to the starting position and do it again passing the ball from your feet to your hands. She does a few moves where you're in a push up position with your feet on the ball and you bring your feet in towards your arms. She does this by bending the knees, and also by keeping your legs straight (kind of like an inverted V-up). There is a review on Videofitness that describes every move if you are interested. Someone also posted this link where you can buy the video for $10.17 - this includes the shipping!

Although the production quality is not the best in the world, it is definitely worth 10 bucks, and I think is compares to Cathe as far as the intensity level goes. (You don't see that too often!)
