Stability ball size

Hi Cathe,
I have been working out for four years now step and heavy weights. I got a stability ball and have tried to use it with your PUB and KPC abs, but I find myself falling off one side or the other when I try to do the pikes. I know it takes practive but I also find it very hard to get the initial pull in for the pike, lots of pressure on my knees. When I lay over the ball for the back or rear shoulder flies my knees are off the floor. When I sit on the ball my knees are above 90*. I am 5'5" tall and my ball is a 55cm. It looks bigger than the ones you use in the tapes. I would really like to do the exercises but get VERY frustrates with all the rolling I am doing and tend to give up. This only makes me mad with myself. Do you have any tips or suggestions?
Thank you for all the wonderful tapes you have put out. I am adding to my colection almost every day.:7

Hi Julie,

I've seen conflicting info on ball size and height. Some 55cm balls say they are good for people up to 5'3", while others say up to 5'6". I am pretty sure Cathe uses a 55cm in her workouts because she is petite. I don't have a ball and have never tried a pike, but I know that they are very difficult. Don't be angry with yourself! It takes a lot of practice.

To get more insight on the size of the ball, you can post with the subject line "Height & Ball Size" or something like that- might elicit more responses.

Good luck!

Gina
