Stability ball inflation

Hi, how often do you have to inflate your stability ball. I admit that I am pretty lazy about this and probably don't do it as frequently as I should. What is a good rule of thumb in terms of how soft you can let it get? Thanks.

Depending on how often I'm using it, I find at least once a week I have to blow the darn thing up. If it gets soft, I don't feel like it's working as efficiently, particularly on those wonderful pikes!

Edited to say that it doesn't help that my DD likes to use it as a bouncy ball:D

I just added air to mine for the first time, and it's close to a year old. I have a Paul Chek Dura Ball Pro.

IMO, if you have to add air too often, your ball might have a small leak somewhere. I don't know if I'd trust a ball like that.

Thanks. I think there must be a small leak in mine as I inflate it about once evry 2-3 weeks. Kathryn, where can I buy a Paul Chek Dura Ball Pro? Thanks again.

Cathy-here is a link to the ball that Cathe uses. I have one and it is great! I never have to inflate it. (Other then when it first comes! :p)

JFYI~The "red" ball is actually pink when it is shipped. I have bought TWO balls that were described as red and they BOTH were pink. (Just like Cathe's.)

I don't remember where I got it. Maybe www.power-systems.com . I'd do a web search under "Dura Ball Pro" to find it. It's firmer than other balls I've used, and makes some exercises more challenging! But I have no worries about it breaking or leaking. It seems very sturdy.

Thanks for the sizing chart. I just learned that I am using a ball that is too large for me. I am barely 5 feet and have been using a 55 cm ball. I didn't realize that they came smaller.
