Well, ladies, unfortunately I am back to hating my job. A few unnecessary comments were made to me yesterday at work that left me feeling unappreciated and wondering if I really want this glorified paperwork job for the rest of my life. It just sucks that if I quit and did something part time, I would make half the money with no benefits. Is it really worth $75 a day to be home when Collin gets off the school bus next year? And then there is the thought of another baby to REALLY complicate things, LOL!
Either way, I have to go to work today (and tomorrow, etc) so I need to make the most of it.
Kate, next year when Collin goes to K he will go for the full day - 835 to 3-something. I don't know whether I will drive him or have him ride the bus. You can't drop kids off at the school until 8 am which makes it difficult for parents who have to be at work at 8 am
Nina, yes, I read what you wrote Sunday about eating/drinking during runs. Where on earth do you stash 1/2 banana while you run, lol? My race will be offering gels at mile 8 so I think I may get some and start training with those. Hip hikes are... Imagine standing on the edge of a step with one or two risers, with one foot on and one off. Let your foot drop down, then shift back up (leg on the step does not move).
Robin, I meant 'weird' like stuff that interferes with my normal schedule. How is work going these days now that the back-to-school madness has subsided?
Colleen, there is no way I could go from 1230 to 730 without eating - I would chew my arm off! Definitely get a snack in there!
Becky, good going with CLX workouts these day, sorry about the denist saga!
Anne, we are happy to see you, funk and all!
Lisa, ^5 on 5 workouts last week! You've been busy with all this company!
Klaudia, the birthday dinner sounds delish!!
Angie, another visitor? I'm with Ryan - NEED my sleep or I am not fun to be around!
Off to the TM - 4 miles on the training log today!
