I know..I know...we just started winter but our rotation will help us get ready for spring!:) I thought about calling it New Years Rotation Challenge BUT there are at least one of each on the go(a new years rotation and a challenge)Anyone wanting to join..come along! I think everyone is sort of doing their own rotation but this is just a nice place to chat about what you did and how your day went.
Last year I got a little lazy with my workouts.I went to Cuba for 1 week,I went to Calgary for 3 weeks and a few other trips besides.Ranging from long weekends to a week.It got a little hard to work out on the trips, plus I got into the rut of taking numerous days off.I also got into the bad habit of picking at food and eating after dinner. Its o.k when your hungry, but what about when your not?:( So, I am trying to get myself back in order..working out like I did before AND eating like I did before:)
I will post my rotaion again:
Week 1 & 3
MOn-Cardio and Upper body
Tues-Cardio
Wed-Cardio and Lower Body
Thurs-Cardio
Fri-Circuit workout
Sat-Cardio and Full Body Workout

Week 2 & 4
Mon-Cardio & Back
Tues-Cardio & Chest
Wed-Cardio& Bic
Thurs-Legs
Fri-Cardio & Tri
Sat-Cardio & Shoulders

My cardios will range from long to short, kick boxing to interval training and of course running.I don't like putting in what cardio I have to do b/c I do whatever I feel like that day.Of course eating will be as clean as possible and lots of sleep.I will be challenging myself with most workouts.Longer cardios and heavy weights.
Already ladies...join me and lets see what we can do for the next few weeks.

I am SO glad you came up with a good title. I still didn't know what to do :)

I am READY to begin today. I know that there are going to be hurdles, and some of them start right away. Remember grandma leaving on Wednesday? Yeah, well, now we're taking her to Boise on Wednesday ourselves:( It's not a really big deal, and I'm happy to do it normally, but that's two days in the very beginning that I have to worry about. I think I might have to change things around just a tad so that I don't feel like a failure in the first couple of days.

I spent half of this weekend with my DB, and let's just say that my eating was not good. He is a fantastic cook, but it was ALL very very unhealthy. Spaghetti with Italian sausage, olive bread with gargonzala cheese spread for dinner, homemade french fries, fried eggs and some junky stuff for breakfast.... all the while reading the magazing "Cooking Light." :) Then last night my mom made huge feast of pasta with cheese, that same olive bread with butter, salmon and shrimp. I've noticed that since my diet took a turn for the worse, I have a big cellulite problem with my legs. I've been this size before without the cellulite, and it really bothers me :(

At least I worked out very nicely on Saturday. I did Cardio Kicks and Power Hour. Using the barbell made such a huge difference that I can hardly use my arms... even now.

Here are what my plans are for the first week:

Monday: IMAX2 and Millennium Stretch
Tuesday: Muscle Endurance and Leaner Legs
Wednesday: Rythmic Step and Power Yoga for Runners
Thursday: Boot Camp and Cardio & Weights
Friday: IMAX1
Saturday: Muscle Endurance and Leaner Legs
Sunday: Rest

For now, I'm going to look at the second workout on each one of these days as a bonus. I may just not be in the shape enough to handle that, and if not, I won't feel bad about it.

So back to that cooking magazine to see what I can do for myself :)

Good luck everyone!!

Yeah, its bad when those hurdles start right away.It makes you wanna start next week.
I just found a box of choc.that I didn't know was in the house.I ate two but thats o.k b/c I only had one meal today.
I had a awesome workout.I did C&W,just the cardio and before I did the step parts I did a 10min run.But I left the last step part out.I ended up doing a 45min run and 3 step parts of cardio and weights. It was about a 1 hour and 10min.I am not sure how long those step parts are. Then I did PUB and the abs! I have felt very energetic all day.I started to take down my decorations.I can't beleive christmas is over.;(
Good luck to ya,I don't know if I will get to check in anymore today.

Hi ladies :)

Well, so far, day one was successful :D I managed my IMAX2, even though I DID NOT WANT TO!!! I was not in the mood, and I am still very sore from Saturday's workout. But I did it, and I did it fairly well. I also did my Millennium Stretch for the first time (I've had it for nearly a year, and I still had the plastic wrap on it!). It was great!! It's an hour long, but the time flew. I will be buying more stuff from Scott Cole in the future. I'm going to have to modify my workouts tomorrow. My upper body is killing me still... I think I will do Rythmic Step tomorrow and hopefully manage to get in muscle endurance and leaner legs Wednesday before we leave. My eating was good, until tonight :( I succumbed to a nice chunk of peanut brittle and corn bread. It is 1:00 a.m. and I just can't sleep. This is bad, but I'm hoping the sugar puts me to sleep. It usually works. This is definitely a habit I need to get out of. I just get so annoyed when I'm sleepy and can't sleep. I'm not a fan of sleep aides, though I do take them occasionally.

I went to the grocery store to stock up on greens and salmon and oatmeal. I need to get to another grocery store tomorrow to pick up more stuff... It was so cold, I just didn't want to be out anymore. Oh!! I also managed to go for a good 40 minute walk... it was all for relaxation, and not even remotely for fitness... but being that not more than 2 people in my neighborhood have shoveled their sidewalks and the city snowplows forget that this section of town exists...... it was interesting.

Ok, I'm going to hopefully get some sleep. Tomorrow is a big cleaning day, so I need energy :)

Goodnight!!!

Good Morning Ladies,
Im pretty lazy now.I had to work last night until 10:30 but the plane was delayed and I didn't get home until 2 and I had to work again at 8.I think I may take a nap before I work out.
I did PUB yesterday and I am so sore today.I can't remember the last time that I actually worked upper body without it being a circuit workout.
I had a dounut for my breakfast:-( But I plan on doing a really tough cardio today.I plan on doing one of the imax videos plus a run in between.I am only going to try half of the imax workout,I don't want to set myself up for failure by thinking that i can do all of it.But I will TRY.
I ate last night to but I was up WAYYYYYYYYY pass my bed time, but I was hungry by the time I went to bed.
Its the worst when you want to work out but you don't want to.When I get like that I just workout b/c your mind doesn't let you rest anyway. You keep thinking about what you should be doing so its just as well to do it.
I just went into the lanudry room, aka my workout room:) .My treadmill use to be in the family room, but my hubby was in his office yesterday and the noise from it was driving him nuts.I knew it wasn't going to take long.SOOOOOOOOOOO,I went into the workout room and he has the t.v hanging from the ceiling, in the corner, with the receiver and VCR hooked up and my treadmill off to the side. And I still have loads of room to do aerobics.Pretty cool hey?
Anyway,I must go and get my family some lunch and take a quick snooze:)

I OFTEN am at the point where my body wants to work out, but my mind is sreaming "NOOOOOOO!!!!" Unfortunately, when I listen to my mind, I just spend a lazy day feeling miserable. I think I am going to tackle the muscle endurance today after all. I am feeling much much better, and I'll just go light with the upper body weights.

However, I am starting to have some very very weird knee pain. Actually, I just looked up a knee diagram and it looks like it might be the ACL (or PCL). That's scary, and it just came out of nowhere. I got up one morning (after not working out for a week) and it was there. Yesterday, I felt it when I walked for awhile, but then I did IMAX2 and an hour of stretching, and felt absolutely nothing. Then this morning, I woke up and OUCH! My hips are not doing well either. I'm too young to have all of these aches and pains. I just can't find a chiropractor or doctor that actually listens and cares. The one chiropractor in town that I've been using is nice, and good because he generally knows what he's looking at, but he is super high-strung and rushes me so much. I need to find a doc that will TALK and LISTEN to me for more than 32 seconds. They just don't exist anymore. And I have literally drained my life savings for doctors the last few years..... that deserves a little bit of respect and time, doesn't it???????!!!!!

SO, if my knee hurts later on, I will do nothing. Now I am scared about the ligamint, but if I'm fine, I'll see what I can do. Eating started off badly today. My mom cooked a huge egg, bacon, and hashbrown breakfast. Boy, it was good :9

Yeah, you still live home. The joys of mothers making breakfast...well...thats me now;) Although I went home christmas time and everyone got up at different times so we had to fend for ourselves.I can't complain though,I got away without having to cook at all the last couple of weeks.
Its sort of got me bummed that christmas is over.My sister was home for a month, now shes gone. The day she left my sister-in-law came home with her baby and now they are gone.I am in the process of taking down my big tree tonight and packing up all of my decorations :-( Oh well, had to end sometime, can't last forever(unfortunatley).
I just finished dinner.I had a piece of chicken in a wrap. Then a couple crackers with some cheese and a piece of choc.
I did 1/2 Imax 1 today and I did a 10 min run before each step segment and I did one at the very end.I got in 1 hour and 25 min of cardio. If that won't burn the remaining fat off of my body , I don't know what will.I left the video starting at interval 6.I will do it again this week, maybe Thursday.I am amazed at how much energy I have had.Hopefully,I won't get burned out or injured.I don't feel like I am pushing myself b/c I have wanted to do long workouts and I am not tired.I will put in some shorter workouts this week as well.
The t.v in the workout room was great.I turned off the vcr in between and watched DR.Phil while I was running.Time flew.
Anyway,I must go take down the rest of the decorations and I plan on getting a good nights sleep tonight. I love my bed.:7
