Hello Ladies,
I assuming that this is still the title? Its gotten changed a few times.:)
I am not sure what the workout will be today.I am so sore from yesterdays workout.I did PLB and then I went for a run last night(in the rainx( ) I was so wet when I got home.
I am hobbling up the steps when I go up.I remind myself of hubbys grandmother.She sort of walks with a limp and thats how I make it up the stairs.Do you guys find that PLB creeps upon you like that? It didn't really hurt when I was doing it but boy do I ever feel it today.
I am so excited b/c I ordered the high step dvd.I orderd it express postage to so hopefully it will be here tomorrow!
Eating as been a little off lately.I have to start eating my breakfast,hungry or not.Yesterday I didn't eat until 11:00, then at 2:00 and I had some crackers at 4:30.Then some nachos at 11:00:eek: I always like to go by the clock when it is time to eat.
Anyway,thats about it for me.Hope everyone as a good day!

Wow Lori,that sounds like you had one very grueling workout yesterday. Yesterday, I did S&H tris and bis. But before that early in the am, I invited my mom, who has just started to become a Cathe addict, to join me for KPC before work. She cant finish all of the tape yet, nor is she coodinated by any means. (She swung so hard on a cross punch that she became so off-balanced that she fell slowly to the floor. I wish I had a camera. She laughed so hard.) But because of this is, she sees this tape as a serious challenge and I ordered her her very own tape yesterday. :) :D
 
That is soooo funny.Are you sure you haven't been working out with my mom??? That sounds like something she would do.
I just finished KPC but only 1/2 and I did the abs.I couldn't possibly squat anymore.My bum and hamstrings are so sore.
I am glad that I ate at a sensible time today.Even thought it was 10:00 but now it is 12:00 and I am starting to get hungry again.

Hi ladies,

Lori, we were on similar wavelengths yesterday as far as leg work. I did LL in its entirety with heavier weights in some exercises now. I did rest a lot between sets to stretch my quads and knees. I'm surprised I'm not sore today. But the soreness just might creep up tomorrow, who knows?

So I did LL yesterday afternoon and yesterday morning I did PS-shoulders/triceps/biceps. I made sure to take a sleeping pill before bed, so now I'm well rested and ready for cardio later today.

Suzanne, it's great how you got your mom to work out to Cathe. My mom has osteoarthritis in her shoulders, hands and knees (I have it in my spine), so she could only watch me. Once she sat down to watch me do the last five intervals of IMAX2 and she had this look in her eyes when she looked at me, like I was Superwoman or something. I was panting like an old dog at the peak of summer and told her that it's harder than it looks. "But you did it," she said, and I just had this feeling that she wished she were able to do something like that when she was my age.

Suzanne, that is too funny! Good for you for getting your mom into Cathe, my moms form of exercise of shopping. That's it.
Pinky, LL didn't get you sore? Wow, you are definately getting in better shape, good for you!
Well, yesterday I did nothing, I stayed up too late the night before and woke up too early to have any energy, so I chose the nap workout.
But this morning I did the step portion of SJP, and this afternoon I think I'll be doing Push Pull. It equals out to about an hour together.
Well, I better go get my son from preschool. You all have a great day!

Hello everyone

Yesterday was an unplanned day off. so I am one day behinf in week 3 of the May Rotation. That is OK, I'll just keep going and skip my day off on the weekend. One more week of this rotation and then 3 days off. Then I'll have to devise a new short rotation followed by a longer one.There is a lillte family time in between. I think I'll keep extended stretch sessions or some pilates days in the next rotation..

Glad to see you working out with your Mom Suzanne. Pinky & Lori & Kathy keep up the good work.

Brenda- I've taken a month off tennis to start the golf season. Golf for me is a work in progress! But I like to walk the hilly course. Tennis will start again next week I start in a league and haven't practiced in a month; I'll keep my expectations low!
 
Hello everyone,

I can't remember when I checked in last...maybe Sunday! I'm taking it easy this week, although I've been doing something everyday. Monday was Winsor Pilates Maximum Burn, Tuesday was the upper body portion of Kathy Smith's LWTLW2, which turns out to be a good upper body workout. Nothing like Cathe of course, but a decent workout (it gets your core because you put rotation and balance into some of the moves). Yesterday was the Pilates Max Burn again, and today I did the Bar Method and added on the ab work from Cathe's new Basic Step/Body Fusion DVD. I feel pretty good, and every afternoon I'm looking forward to what I might do the next day.

Pinky and Suzanne, thank you for the stories about your moms.

Good afternoon, everyone.

Yesterday I worked in my yard and then did a 17 mile bike ride. I focused on keeping my cadance (pedal movement) higher as I went up hills and I practiced drinking while riding. It was actually drinking while coasting! Balancing the bike, taking a sip and pedaling is too much...I can do 2 of the 3!

Today will be no biking and no weighted work...my legs are feeling the load so KPC or IMAX 2 will do the trick. I might just do PLB if I feel like avoiding cardio! We'll see since I can't workout until after the baseball games tonight. DH is going to spin and I already told him I need a day off of the bike!

Lori, PLB totally creeps up on me! I never feel it while lifting, but a few hours afterward...ouch.

Suzanne, that's great that your mom works out with you. My mom is quite heavy and has arthritic knees and can do little more that walk. I think she'd like to do more but can't.

Pinky, glad you slept well and good for you on LL. That one wipes me out, too!

Kathy, naps are always a fine substitution for workouts!

Hi guys!
Well I did my IMAX 2 on Wednesday I love that workout always makes me feel great afterwards . Today had to go out and take care of some business and when I got back home I had forgotten I turned my ac unit off and it was extremely hot to workout here. I swear I need to force myself to get up at the crack of dawn before it gets too hot and humid here just so I can get a good workout in. I really need to get on the ball with that. On the good side I've lost another pound this past week so that now puts me at a total loss of 34 pounds since I got off my butt and started taking some action to get back in shape.
While out I wanted to try on a bathing suit so bad and went and tried on a 2 piece bikini...all I can say is wow I can't believe I could put one on and look half way decent in one too.
I just know that keeping up with my exercise and watching what I eat have brought me to today :)which brings me to how important this checkin is for me ...thanks guys ...you all rock!
