Hi all!
Had a good workout this morning. I did ME. I haven’t done that workout since March 13! (besides the abs that is). Last night I went for a jog with my husband. It was humid so we didn’t go that far, about 2½ miles. I ended with 250 walking lunges.
Lori, I almost always workout early in the morning before eating. I don't know if it really makes a difference or not in burning fat. However, if it's a long workout, I've had to stop just so I could eat.
Kathy, I hope your dog is doing better. That's so odd eating rocks. What did the vet say about that? Anyway, did you do PLB like you were planning? I hope so.
Pinky, I know it can be tough squeezing in cardio. I enjoy Cathe's weight workouts so much more. That's why I split it up into 2 workouts a day. On the other hand, I really love, SJP, C&W and of course HST. Are you doing a rotation now? I'm not. Just not sure what to do right now. I posted a question to Cathe about setting one up. I REALLY hope she answers it.

Today should be, WILL BE cardio. Haven't done any since Sunday. I'm thinking CTX-All Step and CTX-Step and Intervals for a full hour.

Susan, I'm not in any particular rotation right now since my days are fuller than usual. My goal is simply to hit each body part twice a week. Once with really heavy weights, and once with an endurance session. I simply don't have the time or motivation to double up my workouts, although I think two 45-minute sessions are doable. I've been splitting my heavy weight upper body sessions in two now (chest/back and shoulders/tris/bis) so I don't end up too sore and I can recover better and faster. I also can't work out my legs that much because of my knees so I do only one endurance-based leg workout a week, and the rest of the leg work I get from kickboxing, stepping, and floor work.

Yes indeed, what kind of rotation would fit one who doesn't have that much time or energy but still wants to preserve muscle and burn fat? Am I asking too much?:)

Oh thank you all for the wellwishes for my poor poochy! He is home now, just got home with him actually. Now we get some comic relief, because he has a cone on his head and he is bumping inot everything with it, it's really funny! I'm sure he doesn't find it nearly as funny as I do, but it's a hoot! And to watch him drink water, ha, ha!
Ok, enough of having fun at my poor dogs expense.
Well, I did the Hi Low portion of MIC yesterday. It's funny when I first got this workout, I hated it, seriously. Now I kind of had fun doing it and pushing myself to finish the hi low. Strange. Anyway, then in the afternoon I did PLB just the standing portion though. By that time I had in a little over an hour and thought, that is good enough. Plus I took my son to swim lessons and I swim with him. So, really that is a workout in itself.
Today, I'm not sure what to do, but it will be a cardio day. My upper body is a day late in getting sore from CTX, but it's sore, and I just worked my lower yesterday pretty well, so all that is left is cardio. Maybe some Hi Low Heaven is in order, or maybe I'll take it down a anotch and do Still Jumpin, that sounds pretty good too. Just no step today. I'm not in the mood for some reason.
I'm so excited to see Prince tonight I woke up at 5:30 this morning and couldn't go back to sleep. So, I got up and tried on clothes to figure out what to wear. I know it's strange, but I was bored. Then I sat down and watched teh news and went back to bed after I realized nothing much had changed since 10 the night before.
Well, now that i've finished my novel I'll let you all go!
Susan and Pinky sounds like you are doing well! I hope that Cathe will reply to you Susan. Pinky, the ony rotation that i can think of is CTX for time restraints and more cardio, or time saver. But I'm sure you already thought of that. So, that probably didn't help much!

HI Everyone,
Late checking in today.Better late then never,I guess.
I was so busy with both jobs today! Then on one break I went for a 50 min run,then on another break I picked up a McDonalds Salad and went to the hospital.It wasn't much for dinner but then I ate a couple of my mother in laws choc covered almonds.
I have been doing good with my eating the last couple of days.I hope this weekend don't throw me off.
I didn't get to do cardio today before I ate b/c I had to work from 7-11.I had to eat something!But for the next 4 days I will be doing cardio on a empty stomach.
I have changed alot of things in my diet and exercise program over the last couple of years b/c I didn't think it made a big difference.BUt they must.I always did cardio on a empty stomach,never ate in the night time,drank alot of water....and i think it as made a differnce.
Anyway,I hope everyone had a good day.
