spring-board step

I recently read a user review of a step aerobic dvd on amazon.com and the woman said the instructor was using a spring-board step.
I can't find such a thing on the internet. Does such a thing exist?
If so please include in your answer a web site that sells such a thing.
thank you

One was marketed years ago with the Kathy Smith "Power Step" workout. I got it from QVC, and sent it back. It seemed like it wouldn't last long. I don't think it's been marketed for quite a while: obviously didn't sell well (or maybe didn't last well?)

Last year, I bought a spring-board type platform called a "Power board". You can't do step on it because of it's width and depth, but it's good for doing plyo moves on (like those in the blasts of Kick Max). Unfortunatly, while the concept is good, the execution isn't. The foam top pulls away from the base at the corners, and there are plastic wedges that cover the foam corners that also fall off. It came that way out of the box, and when I informed the retailer, they refunded my cost and let me keep it for just the shipping (too expensive for them to have me send it back: I have a feeling there were a LOT of customers who had problems with it).

I've seen similar surfaces for doing plyo moves and cardio on, maybe in www.power-systems.com catalog? But none that could be used for step.

You could try a web search using "power step" or "power board" as your key words.
