Spinning bikes?

Does anyone have a spinning bike in your home? If so, what brand, and if I may ask, how much did you pay for it? I LOVE spinning, but the gyms around me are sooo expensive and that is all I would do there. The class times are also non convenient for me. I am considering getting a spinning bike for my home. I have come across a used one for sale, but am unsure what a reasonable price should be, if it's a good brand (I think it's a Schwinn but am unsure--it is black with a red spinner wheel, think a spinner elite?), what I should look for as far as function etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I bought a spinner bike several years ago, I bought it from a fellow spinning instructor, I got it for $500.00! It is not the Elite, she sold me her's so she could get the Elite. Her bike was used, but in great shape, so I think I got a pretty good deal on it.

You can always call your local gym and find out if they are going to be upgrading their bikes...you can get them cheap sometimes...I know someone who got a old spinner for $50.00..it was the very old white ones..But a bike is a bike!

I purchased a Star Trac Johnny G Spinner Elite Exercise Bike from The Sport's Authority. I absoulutely love it and highly recommend it. They are priced at $999.99 on Sport's Authority website. Rogue, did you get your bike at the actual store or did you have to order it?

The used one is a Schwinn Spinner, they are asking $525 for it, good condition. Not sure if that is a deal or not? I am unsure how old it is.

I ordered it. Shipping was free and they do not carry them in the stores around here. It took about a week from the time I placed the order to get the bike. That was almost two years ago. I just checked their site and it does still ship free.
 
I bought a revmaster from brands cycle and fitness - online. Service was outstanding - I received my bike in 2 days! I love it. Marnie
