Speaking of fashion rants....

wow... if you are talking about the denim jacket i think you are talking about.. the sleeves are slightly gathered.. but far from poofy.. and the jean jacket is VERY cute! and very feminine.... i tried to find it on their site to post.. but it must be sold out at gap.com....

i agree that 80's styles were horrible.. but i didn't see the 80's at all in that jacket (we could be talking about 2 different jackets.. but since i visit the gap at least weekly and have only seen a couple of demin jacket.. the cute one and the "normal"/traditional one.... i'm pretty sure you are talking about the cute one!

now something i DON'T get????? 3/4 length sleeves on jackets???? what's up with that? shirts... ya... ok.. i've come to accept that.. but why would i want short sleeves on a jacket?

That's probably the one. They had it in blue denim and a sort of white, but not really white. I can't think of how to describe it. I thought it was cute too, until I saw the shoulders. Apparantly a lot of other women feel the same way about it as me, because it was marked WAY down and they had a TON of them.

Does anyone remember layering thier socks?? Wearing 2 pairs, usually one in white and one in another color to match your outfit!?!? LMAO!

And what about Z. Cavarichi's!?!? (spelling?)

I went to high school in the 80's and I think I lived through each and every one of these fashion disasters. I was so there. I had the hair, the jeans with the zippers and bows at the ankles, the converse high tops, rolling my jeans at the bottoms, the Z. Cavarricchi's, the mini skirts, and last but not least: the huge Aqua Net Hair.

But more!! I wore really long shirts with tails down to my knees with a huge decorative BELT!! LOL!!

The polo shirts are definitely back. My 13-yr. old niece is the queen of fashion plates, and she was wearing them last time I saw her. A pink one under a yellow one or something.

Remember Jordache jeans????
