SORE MUSCLES FROM MAX INTENSITY

Sorry it took me so long to respond. As Nicole has already posted(thanks Nicole), your muscles are especially sore any time you do a brand new routine or have changed around a current routine. That soreness is not only very normal and nothing to be alarmed about, but also a sign that your muscles have been positively stimulated and challenged. It is also important to point out that when your muscles are very sore, your body will respond most effectively if you take the following day off. It is during this day off that your body is not only healing, but gaining the benefits from the previous days tough workout. You also do not need to do total body weight workouts more than three non-consecutive days per week. Hope you are still enjoying MIS. Thanks for posting!

When you say, "Take the following day off..."

that doesn't mean from cardio too, or does it? I'm really trying to resolve some inaccurate information I've been receiving lately...Let's say I did 3 total body weighted workouts a week, I could still do cardio the days in between and be able to give my body recovery time right?

Yes......

you can do cardio in between unless you are very, very, sore from a leg workout. Then you may want to take a total rest day the next day.
