Someone help me with pictures PLEASE!

OK! I just can't figure it out. I am trying to get a picture up as my avatar. I printed off the directions I found here last week, about going to goole picturetrail, yada yada yada. But I can't even find that. I went to google and saw nothing there.

What am I missing? Here's what I want to do. I want to upload a digital picture from a disk to use as my avatar (or whatever it's called). And I want to create some before pictures.

Can somebeody please help this lost soul? PLEASE? I know enough about computers to get around, download pics, etc, but I can't seem to figure this out. Thnaks1

Go to picturetrail.com, then register as new member, create an album. Click "browse" and it will probably go right to your pictures. Choose pics. I am not sure about avatar, but by that time you may be more familiar, and have more help from other forum members. Good luck.

Thanks...I forgot to mention in my original post that I was able to at least create an acocunt with picturetrail.com and upload some pics there. But I got stuck there. I don't know what to do next.

Can anybody take me a step further?

At the top of the forums, click "user menu". Then "edit your profile". Put the URL address in the signature bar.

Great! Thanks...I think it worked. Now I am going to get greedy and ask someone to tell me how to put my pic as an avatar. Anybody game on helping me out here?

Alright! I konw everyone is excited about Hardcore and busy previewing and trying them out. But I thought I'd try just one more time to get some help with putting a pic as an avatar.

Can somebody please help me?

Gayle,

Log into Picture Trail and on the menu click on using an image/picture as a URL. After you do this copy the link and paste it into the avatar slot in your user menu profile on the Cathe forum.

Thank you, Beverly, for your help. Of course, my work PC is blocking that site because it's "entertainment". I will do it when I get home later. It sounds like it's all right there on the screen for me...probably could have figured it out if I wasn't in such a hurry! LOL
