Just some lighthearted Friday fun--my ex & I used to argue about this all the time (well, in a fun way, we had lots of other nasty stuff to argue about).

So I do sock/shoe sock/shoe b/c I don't want my clean socks touching the floor. He did sock/sock shoe/shoe.

I wonder if this says anything about our personalities?

Well, I do sock/sock shoe/shoe but only because I don't put my shoes on right away in the house. I put my socks on when I get dressed, then my shoes on when I'm going out. I don't wear shoes around the house. Surely your shoes are dirtier than your socks, since you wear them outside?

I do sock/sock shoe/shoe, mostly for the same reason as Shelley. We have hard wood floors through most of the house, so I don't want to marr them with shoe scuffs. On the other hand, I don't like to run around barefoot, especially when the weather turns chilly. So when I'm home, it's mostly in my socks.

I've always done sock/sock shoe/shoe. Just my personal preference.

Do you do leg/leg or both legs at the same time in your pants? LOL

Sally

I do one leg at a time. :) Usually I'm standing up when I'm dressing, doing both legs at once would be quite a trick. Maybe I'd have to do a tuck jump LOL.

Shelley, the outside of my shoes are dirtier than my socks, but the insides aren't. Well, depending on how smelly they are anyway. :p

I'm definitely in the sock/sock, shoe/shoe camp. I put shoes on because I have plantar faciitis and my feet would be very unhappy with me if I didn't wear shoes all day, everyday.

Hey, I think Laura may have an idea for a new workout with the tuck jump into the pants. Getting Dressed Max? Clothing Cardio? Interval Fashion? How about Gym Style Shoes and Socks, along with Gym Style Bras and Blouses?

LOL! I think the fact that you guys even had this discussion says a lot about your personalities :D. I do sock/sock shoe/shoe...well....just because.

Sandra

I do sock/sock shoe/shoe too. I usually get up put my workout clothes on and my socks and shoes. Unless of course I'm not working out. Then it's no shoes when it's warm and socks when it's chilly. No slippers till it's FREEZING!

I think Genie Hopping one leg at a time into jeans would be a good one too Robin. We'll have to try it next weekend!! LOL! Can't wait!

I put my socks and shoes on on carpeting, so it's sock sock shoe shoe. I can definitely understand not wanting to get your socks dirty on the floor, though, if you're not on carpeting.

I guess I'm in the minority. I do sock/shoe sock/shoe and I always start with the left foot...LOL....TMI!

I just hate being predictable. I generally do sock, sock, shoe, shoe, but I've been known to wander the house with only one sock on due to distractions - then get back to the other sock at a later time. :7 :7

I do sock/shoe sock/shoe, starting with my left foot. I actually have a stupid reason for this that I got from watching All In The Family. I think that is the right show, the one with Meathead, Edith, and I actually can't remember the star of the show. Is it Archie? Anyway, he and Meathead got into an argument one night because Meathead was doing sock/shoe sock/shoe. Archie said what if the house caught on fire while putting on your shoes and you ran outside before you finished. You would look really stupid wearing 1 sock and 1 shoe. Meathead's reply was what if you ran outside and it was snowing. He would have 1 foot to stand on while Archie would have nothing but socks on that would get wet and cold. I have never forgotten that and have always done sock/shoe sock/shoe ever since. :7

OMG Kelley, that is SO funny. I do sock/sock, shoe/shoe... but I might just start doing sock/shoe, sock/shoe now that I've heard this logic! :7
