<--it doesn't get in the 40's here until about November/December

<--says that it's been steady, but not slammin' busy, which is very nice considering last week we were so overstaffed that out of 11 nurses scheduled, only 3 worked (2 patients apiece)
<--likes it when the ICU is full of patients....that means that <--doesn't have to float to other areas of the hospital (like the floor and take 6 patients!)

<--says everyone is sleeping now
<--likes the quiet
<--says Connor still had a fever and a nasty cough
<--has to go to work
<--is also cold here
<--was rudely surprised of that at 5:35 this morning when we had a fire call and <--ran outside in t-shirt!

<--was up at 0400 the other morning and actually didn't mind not being able to sleep
<--had the house to <--self and really enjoyed it, well, not really to self, the cats were up and playing
<--found that they really like it when <--is up early!
<--they also really like it when <--is working nights (they love sleeping with <-- during the day!)

<--waves a Megsadoodle and wishes her a good fire call
 
<--tells Amy that someone swerved to not hit a deer and wound up in the ditch
<--says luckily it wasn't serious
<--says speaking of cats, Toby must be out playing
<--says he wouldn't come in last night, and <--hasn't seen him yet this morning, so he must be out tommin' around
