this SATURDAY! And don't forget to post for high schools too! I am sure we have parents of players/cheerleaders on this board.

College - THE Ohio State University Buckeyes will be playing my beloved Spartans of Michigan State in E. Lansing. KO - 3:30 pm.

HS - my DS is in 8th grade but the local school plays the school next to us and we put ourselves out of the running for playoffs with a total butt kicking last week. Still go to the game because I know many parents and players. Like I tell my son - "Don't do anything stupid - it's a small town and I'm gonna hear about it"
 
OMG! Shock of shocks! Yet another brilliant football post! :rolleyes: That makes 3 for today, & zero posts on fitness.

So much for exercise, diet & Cathe Friedrich.............:p
 
All right, peeps, you guys make football seem exciting!! I may have to start watching! Tell me who has the most attractive men, er, I mean uniforms, and I'll cheer for them. :p

Our High School doesn't play football but if it's ok to chime in on soccer we're going to the varsity game on that one. We've had wonderful temps for the past week but of course by Friday night it's dropping to the 50's (during the day) & rainy. Of course they still play in the rain. Time to get out the under armour & hot chocolate!!!
It will be fun either way!!

Soccer is welcome also!! Thank goodness for UA!! I live in it for games. Do you play night games????? Our HS soccer field doesn't have lights - yet! But there is talk of it.

Okay, Sparrow, your post made me think of hot college boys which made me think of my brother who is himself a little hottie in college which made me throw up in my mouth a little... thanks for that! :eek:

ETA It wasn't the thought of my brother it was the thought of hot bodies... nevermind, there is no digging myself out, lol

Don't laugh, I've never watched a football game:eek:
I watch golf because you can nap to it:D I LOVE Tiger Woods.

I'll be glad when football is over. My husband keeps flipping to ESPN to get updates on the scores. It's driving me bonkers!!!
 
Definately soccer under the lights!!! So much fun. Our boys have played since they were old enough to play youth league & this is the firts yr th eyoungest is playing modified in Jr High. We love it. The older one gave up on it a few yrs ago, but that's ok. He goes with us to all the games.
I guess I would enjoy Football live, probably not on tv though. Unless there's good munchies!! ;)
 
I'm with Baylian-Go State, Go! I wish I were going to the game:( It's supposed to be perfect football weather-high 50's and sunny (sigh). Oh, well. Maybe I can get my husband to take me out for a beer-or two;) and watch the game at the local pub.
