So, what's everyone up to this weekend?

My sister just saw it with her son. She liked it, but she said they both cried at the end.

Nothing too big planned for the weekend. I have to work at the restaurant tonight until probably 11, so that will make for a 14 hour day. I'm getting used to it though. ;)

Tomorrow, I get to go see my newest nephew "Cyrus" (where did she come up with that???)and my sister. This is her 7th child and 5th boy! She is crazy! Her and her DH love kids though and they practically live on a farm - all the kids have chores (goats, horses, chickens, turkeys, etc...)

Hopefully, I will get some workouts fit in on Sat. & Sun., but mostly I just plan to chill out with the weiner dogs and DH and watch some tv! :)

I am going to atlantic city with my best friend for the weekend. We are going to see Howie Mandell perform while we are there!:)

Liann, My sister has 6 kids so I know what you mean! She doesn't live on a farm but she does live in the country! :)

Shelley, I guess you are thinking of taking Sophie to the movies this weekend? Have fun!:)

I'm going to do nothing...just relax and be thankful for the bullet I dodged in almost having to work on a deadline this weekend.

I'll catch up on my reading, do my new GS upper body workouts (!!!), laundry. DH and I are going out to dinner at one of our favorite restaurants tomorrow night. Oh, and we have to watch our two Netflix rentals, "Iris" and "Artimisia, which have been here for the last three weeks.

(wow, I'd better get busy doing nothing, or I won't finish by Monday! :) )

:) My DH and DD are going to spend some time together Saturday. I have the option to do nothing, or go shopping or go to lunch with a friend. I just haven't decided. But I'll have a good time whatever it is, I almost never have time to myself.

They rest of the time I'll spend with my family chillin'.

Sure glad it's Friday. And cannot wait to meet all you great girls from this forum.

My DH & I are doing what we do every weekend... working. This weekend, we'll be finishing some planter beds, trimming trees, & putting shutters up. At least I get in some exercise every weekend!

I guess I will live vicariously through the rest of you!

Have fun!

Kel

Shelley -

Are you taking yours to go see that movie? If you do, let us know how it is. It sounds really interesting.

Lea

I haven't seen it, but it looks good! I read the book ages ago (I think I was in 5th grade?), but I think my 8yo would like it.

As for plans, we're going to a fun night at my dd's school tonight w/ food & games. She's super excited. Then we're going to be getting our *new to us* truck tomorrow. And we're all going ice skating tomorrow night for a thing for my dh's work. So, I guess a busy weekend! ;-)

What are *you* up to, Shelley?

We haven't seen it. Let us know if it's good if you do.

We're are planning on going to NJ for the weekend so the kids can spend time with their grandfather before his brain biopsy on Monday. I haven't decided if I'll take any dvds with me since there's a gym in their retirement community center.

I don't know what it is about weekends, but once they get here, I like to be in my jammies all day. I have to really be in the mood to get up and go anywhere. I try to do what I need to do during the week, because weekends are my lazy days, oh, did I mention that my weekends are like this only when DH is away, right now he is gone for 3 months, he is in the Navy. He just left Japan 3 days ago. He will be home in April. I stay home on weekends while he is away, because when he is home he likes to go everywhere !! I am such a homebody!! :)

Shelley are you going to the movies? My 3 year old does not behave in the movies unless my DH is with us. So we do Netflix. We have not seen that movie, but my daughter read the book in 5th grade. Have fun at the movies!!!

Dh and I are going on a date tomorrow to see Wild Hogs and we are also going out to eat and then doing some shopping! What a great day! Best yet is that we have a sitter for the boys. woo hoo!!

Hey Shelly! Haven't seen you in the haters thread lately, WTH?? ;-)

I LOVE Friday's night, getting my workout in and then showering & hanging out with the kitties in my PJs!

Tomorrow is some cleaning around the house then meeting my mom & younger sister for dinner and maybe some shopping.

Sunday I am hoping to have a "do nothing but workout day" and relax & enjoy the day before heading back to the grind on Monday!

Hope to *see* you soon in the haters check-in.

This weekend, shoveling snow and more snow. I did it for a few hours for my parents in northern MI this week and I haven't stopped yet. My last workout and Cathe DVD was last Saturday and hope to do SB or BM2 tomarrow.

Talk about posting a thread and then leaving...!:p

For all who asked, yes I'm thinking of the movies, but my DD has said she'd like to go shopping, so who am I to argue?;)

I would love to spend the weekend in my pajamas. That sounds like heaven. Won't happen in this lifetime, but I can dream, right?

Sabrina - WHOO HOO for getting a sitter for the boys! How exciting.

Jen - enjoy your workout day. I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed and will check back with the Haters soon, I promise:)

As for workouts, I have to run six miles on Sunday and I think tomorrow will be PUB.

No kidding Shelly, post & then go MIA!!! Just kidding!

Hey, who are you to argue with your DD, she sounds like a very smart cookie!

Check back anytime, you can pop in & out as often as you like, we understand!

Have fun running, I have never been able to run... I think I think too much & need the DVD to distract me from my brain...

Hub and I are going to see Wild Hogs on Tuesday. I don't care what the reviews on it are - I think a little light entertainment is in order for us - then out to dinner

This weekend, I have to take care of my Mom on Saturday and squeeze in a workout during the afternoon.

Sunday, I scheduled at 60 minute deep tissue massage in the AM and then I am going to do Pure and Simple Stretch in the afternoon.

Hub is working on the farm truck both days trying to figure out why it keeps overheating!!!!
