That is so sad. I used to watch WWE for the Rock, but I knew who Chris Benoit was, I thought he was a good wrester. I hope that they find the cause of the deaths. How sad...

after i watch hell's kitchen i am switching over to WWE. even vince mcmahon stopped his "vince is dead" charade for ratings to come public. so sad,if they are not releasing details then it must have been foul play.

That really is sad. I remember many, many years ago I really liked Chris and Nancy and would tune into WCW just to see those two. She had the best sneer! ;-)...really sad news...

well they haven't said who commited the murder just suggesting murder/suicide by him but you are right if it was him. plus he had completely lost his mind after eddie guerrou that its easy to fall back into bad habits. i know after a death in the family recently i had the urge to drink again and almost wanted to smoke. and at his age, he has to compete with new younger competition where many of them(randy orton,john cena,etc) have the bigger muscles and the baby faces. that too could drive somebody to dabble into the dark world of steriods for a quick fix, and no matter how little or how much, that stuff just changes a person.

This is so sad! :( They are saying now that his wife and kid were killed over the weekend and he didn't kill himself until Monday morning. I feel so bad for the family left behind! He has two other children too. What a mess. :'(
 
I just saw on CNN that supposedly Benoit strangled his wife, smothered his son and hanged himself. My god I just don't understand why we as a society try to solve our problems this way!

some ppl just don't have faith to go on. its sad b/c we all have problems and go through tough times but faith, religion or otherwise, gets us through it. but i really think he went back to some of his dangerous old ways(roids,drugs,drinking) and it really screwed him up, not an excuse by any means, just a very wrong way to handle his life.

It is extremely sad--what is even more sad is I came into work this morning after being off yesterday and found out a manager on my floor did the same thing over the weekend. Him and his wife were having marital problems and he shot her and then shot himself - leaving a 6 year old behind - I just don't get it.
