So we all know that deli meat is saturated in sodium, and Im desperatly trying to lower sodium only to find that it exists in the strangest places!
I had some pre-packaged deli smoked ham for brunch (gross, but I needed the protein :T ..
Im wondeirng if anyone knows if RINSING the meat under the water will reduce any of the sodium content at all? (like if you drain canned items you reduce a lot)
Also, the FRESH meat you get at the deli that they slice right off the butterball, does that have more sodium as well as, say, a piece of the same meat that you get in the refrigerated area and cook at home?
