It has all the Big 10 coaches trying to recruit people to go to their school. JoPa is the best!! THe commercial ends with him begging, "Come to Penn!!" or something close, anyway

Frankly, your willingness to defend someone who said I "need to drink heavily.........and get your a$$ laid because your pills are not working," well, I won't even waste energy posting my thoughts on that.
Funny, her comment about how much better she felt after downing some alcohol was very telling all on its own.............

Isn't it amazing what the older generation remember? My Gram (89) remembers stuff from 50 years ago or more but sometimes forgets she moved from one area of Cleveland to another in the 70's!

One of my bestest friend's husband is just like that - it drives her crazy! He is so into college ball - football and basketball - that she is a single parent from September until November, lol.
I totally get into pro football, though. GO COLTS!!!!! (even though they suck this year, but hey, we have lots of injuries)

Maybe she was joking...just as you were when you compared Palin to the devil and called McCain an old coot or whatever it was. It just doesn't seem right to "post-stalk" someone and drag down several threads. I don't agree with either you or Baylian on the political threads but this is just being negative for negative sake.

P.S. I'm not really bashing. If anything, I'm giving baylian the opportunity to redeem herself & show that she really is here for the sake of fitness. Shockingly, she has chosen not to take this opportunity.

I have? Hmmm...I don't recall going onto four or five different threads that you posted on and posted to argue with you for no apparent reason. I don't have anything against you...I don't know you! I would NEVER consider myself a conservative...OR a liberal. I can find fault in both parties so please do not pass judgement on me or what you think are my political views.
This was a simple thread about college football. Then there was a thread about the Browns winning. I mean that only happens a couple times a season and that thread is "tarnished." The beat the winter blahs thread was attacked. It is just unprovoked attacking for the sake of it.

I am NOT supporting baylian. I had chosen not to comment on any of the other "controversial" threads because they were just that. I open (what I think is) an innocent looking thread and BAM the negativity is in my face. I realize I should have just overlooked it all and either just posted my comment about the original topic or not posted at all. I couldn't. I guess my PMS kicked in and my fingers started typing before my brain could say "no, wait..." My apologies to you, LauraMax, if I upset you in anyway. I just want the negativity to stop. I am tired of it followed closely by the "I am leaving the board" threads because of the negativity. Just leave. You don't have to announce it so everyone can "talk you down..." Uh-oh, there go my fingers again

Why thank you Carrie, & I apologize if I upset you. I have to admit I was a bit put off by the approximately 10 PMs I found when I logged in this a.m. regarding baylian's latest attack, & I suppose I let my posts get a little out of hand.
I'm just baffled as to why someone w/absolutely no interest in fitness would come to a fitness forum to post about politics & football, and then attack when people don't like it. Why not just go to politics & sports forums, where this behavior is expected?
Oh well, my mistake. Again, sorry for upsetting you & any other innocent forum members.

Not sure if this will help at all, but what the hey...Laura, Baylian admitted her behavior towards you in the "Do the *Right* Thing" thread was wrong. I can't speak for the rest of the forum, but I'm always willing to start over with someone, and that's the vibe I'm getting from Baylian~ she wants to start over. No one is condoning past behavior but instead responding to current behavior.
I understand if you're still angry about your conversations with her. That's something only the two of you can work out via PM. The rest of us, however, may just want to move on.
I hope you guys can eventually forgive each other. It makes life so much easier.

LW I appreciate the thought, however baylian apologized to other forum members, not to me. Bear in mind I have never, ever personally attacked her, only the content of her posts. And even if I did step an inch or so over the line in the past, she's gone over it by miles.
Baylian doesn't want to start over. Baylian is trying to prove a point. And the very fact that she cannot answer a single Q that's fitness related is evidence of that.
I apologize in advance if I continue to offend, but I simply cannot let such a juvenile, disgusting, low class attack on my personality go by without notice. I've been here a long time........I mean, a really long time. I've been exercising w/Cathe since 1997. I've been a contributing member of this forum & I've tried to be supportive of each & every member in their fitness journey.
It saddens me to have our wonderful FITNESS forum trashed by such an incredibly extreme & nasty woman over politics.
