SNM: unread post markers

I'm still having problems with posts I have read (and marked) coming up as "unread". This is getting a bit frustrating, as I've several times revisited threads that there are no new posts on (and I'm SURE I had previously marked them, as I always mark each forum when I'm done reading the new messages). Is there a glitch in the system that could be fixed?

This happens to me as well - everything is always NEW no matter how many times I've read it.

You have to click the "mark" button at the top of each forums page after you have read the posts. Once you click the "Mark" button all the new tags for that forum will go away.

I always click the "mark" button, but I'm still getting false "new" markers.

Click on Conferences. Click on "Mark All". When I do this, the new markers go away.

The only thing I can suggest is to make sure you have cookies enabled on your browser. If your using a firewall, make sure to allow our site as a "friendly" site. If none of these are the problem, then I would suggest you delete the cookie from our forum in your cookie folder - It may be corrupt.

I don't even have a 'Mark Post' button. Hmmm... Where is it supposed to be??

Hollie, the "mark" buttons are not within the individual posts, but rather just inside each conference - where all the posts are listed. "Mark" is second from the right end at the top, just to the left of "User."

I see it!!!!!! :-jumpy Thanks!! Although, now ALL the New tags are gone. LOL Oh well, that's okay. At least I get those annoying red tags off.
