SNM--new DVD chapters

Hope this hasn't already been asked, but...

Will the new DVD's be broken up into chapters the way the PS series is? I absolutely LOVE having so many options for PS, and would love to see the mix and match feature in MIS, BodyMax, Power Hour and the Slow and Heavy series.

Thanks :)
Wendy

RE: New DVD Chapters

I'm actually working on this this weekend. MIS and the Slow & Heavy series will be just like the Pure Strength DVD (Each exercise can be chosen individually. This format will not work for Power Hour. Instead, Power Hour will be broken down by body part;ie. Chest, back, shoulders....etc..

As for BodyMax and any of the other older videos, feel free to make suggestions here.:)

RE: New DVD Chapters

Thanks--good news!
I'll post my suggestion on BodyMax, Imax, etc. later...

Suggestions!!!

Well, since you asked;-)

1) I'm sure you're going to split up the Hi/Lo and Step..and maybe even chop them up further..so I'll put a big plea in for an individual chapter for the interval blast at the end of MIC step section...would love to tag that onto Step segments from other workouts.

2) Have all the step sections and intervals from IMAX as individual chapters..not joined together, sort of a mix and match. Allowing us to take intervals and join them to cardios from other routines, also letting us use the individual cardios to put together with some of the strength chapters to make our custom circuit workouts too.

3) Same with BodyMax, have the strength and circuit cardios available as individual chapters.

The best feature out of all this DVD stuff is how much you can break them down for us...gives us tons of possibilities:).

Thanks Chris!:7

Nancy, you're making this very difficult for me...

My DVD player only holds 1 DVD....if they follow your suggestions, I'll *have* to get a multi-disc DVD player! ;-) OMG, the possibilities! :) :)

RE: Nancy, you're making this very difficult for me...

Yes, a multi-disc DVD player is a MUST!!! I got mine about two weeks ago and I'm having such a blast mixing things up!!!

Nancy's right....give it to the men in the house!

Multi-disc DVD Player recommendations?

Can anyone recommend to me a multi-disc DVD player? I own a single disc DVD player but need to get a new one anyway. Then, I don't need to drag the DVD player from my living room to my new exercise room (I just bought a new home!).

Thank you.

BodyMax suggestion

I would love to see the upper body workout from BodyMax chaptered by exercise. Nancy-- I love the suggestions you've made. Looking forward to these DVDS... and yes---- a multi-disc player is a must have!

SNM - chapter requests

LAST EDITED ON Jun-11-01 AT 12:41PM (Est)[p]Hi,

I don't actually have BodyMax, or MIC, but do have a suggestion. Please put the cooldown and strecth as two seperate chapters. I love the longer strecth in StepFit or is it StepWorks? anyway - I can't access it without also doing the cool down or fast forwarding though it - which defeats the whole DVD concept for me.

Other than that I'm sure you have a good feel for what everyone here is looking for having done this a few times and will give us lots and lots of chapters.
Thanks for asking,

Dawn W

RE: New DVD Chapters

I'm glad to hear that the new strength DVDs will have each exercise in a separate chapter. Makes it easier for me to "rewind" when I need a little more of a break and have to let the gang go on without me. For the other videos, I'd definitely want to see the warm-up, stretch, and cooldown in separate chapters, and the workout itself divided into as many chapters as is logical (for example, each time a new step combo is introduced, and then again when the combos are put together).

Pioneer DV-C503

Hi Lydia:7...Yup, that's the one I have too. It may also be under the newer model number...DV-C603.

Lorrayne, I think Wendy is going to put together a page about DVD's at VF. She might not have it up yet, but it should include all the tips and tricks of buying the right DVD player for us Vidiots.
