SNM - issue with STS DVDs, unfortunately

Hi SNM,

I got my STS delivery (yay! - it felt like forever, but I really didn't wait that long). The set looks amazing and I immediately read the guide cover to cover. However, I was disappointed with a couple of things when I went through the DVDs themselves:

1. the Ab Circuits DVD- I discovered when I opened it that the centre thingy that holds the DVD to the case was broken and the DVD had come loose; pieces of the broken thingy have scratched the DVD and it no longer holds on to the case.
   
2. the Mesocycle 1 set has quite a bit of cracking on the top halves of many of the plastic holders holding the DVDs to the case.

I'm not sure what to do about these issues. I know DVDs are not returnable (and it would cost me a fortune to ship them anyway - and I waited too long to return them now and I just won't give 'em up!). Do you have any suggestions?

Aren't Cathe's DVDs guaranteed for life if you purchase directly from her?
