SNM--defective DVD question

Hi there--I've owned IMAX3 pretty much since the day it was released, but it's always locked on interval 8. (I have no idea what intervals 8 & 9 are! :-( ).

In any case, I'd had some similar problems with other DVDs but after cleaning the player they're all working fine except I still can't finish off IMAX3.

My question is, is it too late to exchange it? I would completely understand if it was, I just wasn't sure if I should re-order it--and, for that matter, if I should re-order VHS or DVD--but I figured I'd ask the question first.

LauraMax, I just sent SNM the exact same question in email! Only my issue is with the Pyramids (specifically PUB/shoulders). I was reading on one of the homepages that DVDs are guaranteed for life as long as you purchased from cathe.com. So I am hoping to get to make the trade, too.

DVDs are guaranteed fir life, but first please try playing the DVD on another player. Sometimes a player has a problem with a "particular" DVD and the only way to know for sure is to test on another player.
