SNM-changed mind- Chromebook ?'s

I played with a chromebook at a store today and was kinda impressed with it. Would I be able to
Create blender workouts from it and when I played them hooked to tv, would it be using your
Video player or does the Chromebook have it's own "native" player? The one I played with
Had 4gb ram and some sort of intel processor...Toshiba was the brand. The guy at the store
Said it's performance would be comparable to iPad . He said I could try it, 14 day return policy
But I thought I'd check with you and get your thoughts . Thanks

I have a Toshiba Chromebook with 4gb ram and and an Intel Processor and I can successfully create blender workouts with it with no problems and hook it up to my TV. You use their video player on the Chrome browser. Works perfect! It works way better then my Ipad. I guess I've read in other postings that there is an issue with Apple Iphone and Ipad and the workout blender that they hope to work out. I love my Chromebook!!

Yep that's the one I played with. THANK YOU so much for your insight. I use my iPad now & I have no
Problems because I use IOS 6 -8 on my devices but wanted to explore other options as well as I love
The blender & Cathe live....and wanted to be able to make up workouts without having to boot up my
Desktop cause it is old & slow...( kinda like me !) LOL.

The Chromebook would work fine to create Workout Blender workouts. Since it basically uses a desktop browser vs. a tablet browser, it will be easy to drag your workouts around...something difficult on a tablet. The Chromebook sends its video wirelessly to your TV most commonly by pairing it with a $35 Chromecast, which you purchase separately. The iPad and other tablets are good for playback only at this point, but definitely go with the Chromebook if you're going to need to create workouts.

We don't have Chromebook's in our office and have never used one. We only have Macs. Chromebooks should work as this is a browser based program , but performance for any type of application may also depend on the units processor, ram and video card. The better the computer the better the performance. Chromebooks could be fine, but we can't say as we have never used it.

Thanks everybody for your thoughts. Once again, I have changed my mind and
Will stick with iPad mini. I read some forums where a lot of people have
Wifi connection problems with the chrome book & I don't want that hassle!
Matter of fact, I just did a blender workout with my mini running IOS 6 and
It was flawless! The chapters changed so quickly I had to hustle to get what
I needed for the next! (Maybe I better add in some 5 sec breaks! LOL)
They change pretty quick on IOS 7 & 8.0 too but better on 6 if that helps.
Hope nothing changes there. I guess there are advantages to not updating!
Thanks again.
