Wow just got done with body max 2. I must say Cathe kicked my butt!!!! For the weight work I had to used 8,5 & 3bls I was so fatigued. I also did Cardio on 8" step.

I did a mish mosh this morning:

Jump Rope warm up..

Tonique Premier Squat segment
10 Burpees/25 Mountain Climbers/10 Burpees/75 Mountain Climbers
125 Bicycle Crunches

Kicked my azz! :eek:
 
40/20 was CRAZY!!!!! I totally forgot about the 20 minute run thats included. I just got done with the workout and it is now 730pm, so I may do it tomorrow. I ordered BM1 and i'm hoping i'll get it by end of this week. so I may do kpc instead. It took me a while to decided to buy that dvd,i don't know why.

This morning's w/o was KCM Split Sessions for UB with jump rope in between weight lifting segments to make it more of a circuit w/o.

Terina:: 40/20 is a killer work out! Good job!!! FWIW I could never get a weight ticker to show up in my posts either. It only ever showed up in my PM's. :mad::confused:
 
ck'in in. Ran short on time to start BM2 so I did 40/20 on Monday. AGH! When it came time to add on 2 more risers for kick butt's I had to pause the DVD and BREATHE!!!
I did an hour walk on Sunday, rest day yesterday and I'm stalling to go do Body Max 2 today. I don't own Body Max (1) and I can't spend the money right now. I wish I owned it too, Terina. Let me know how you like it when you get it. I was hoping it was on this weeks special purchase.
Any suggestions on how to do my own Body Max one tomorrow? It is interesting that Cathe has only a few of this type of workout. I only saw the two Body Max's and something called ???? Getting Ready for Your Wedding?

Today I took the rest day instead of friday :eek: Hoping new dvd will come in soon.

Good Morning.

Today's work out was the first 5 blasts only from IM2 after a jump rope warm up and then the ankle weight segment of BBL High and Tight and last but not least, a 2:40m prone plank on the elbows.

Colleen:: The BM work outs are long and tough so don't be so hard on yourself!!!

Terina:: I hope the new dvds come soon too. I could use some new toys to play with! LOL
 
Wendy, you are so good at designing your own workouts and rotations. Are you trained in fitness as well? I am always so impressed and inspired by what you do.
No time today. And I feel a twinge in my left achelles heel from BM2. I used the 8" risers for all of the step workout and 3 of the intensity/blasts and I could feel I over did it and lowered the step to 6". The "shock"step intrigues me. Sometimes I feel 6" is too easy and 8" is too much. Did you order it Terina?
I haven't had a new pair of workout shoes for 3 years. I've been buying inner soles to save money instead. I think my tweeking knees and achilles twinge might be from the need for new shoes. I put a pair on the credit card. We don't use the card anymore but I think I might get injured soon if I don't do something. And heaven knows I'm not stopping my workouts!!!
I got some wonderful suggestions to replace BM1 on the Open Forum and I'll do one of them tomorrow. Maybe the latest Intensity in it's entirety with the Boot Camp. Not sure yet. As Scarlet O'Hara said "tomorrow is another day".:cool:
 
Colleen,I'm not going to order the shock step only because when we purchased our new carpet we bought a really good padding. It has great shock absorption. The only thing is the carpet and my shoes makes it hard to do some spins. I was thinking of buying one of those plastic coverings that they use in offices for office chairs. I was going to post this on the forums and get feed back,what do you all think?
I think buying new shoes is a very good idea!!
Were and what kind of suggestions did you get for substituting BM?


Got done with kpc, I did SO much better this time around the only combo I couldn't do was the very last one =). I was pretty impress with my self =).

Good Morning.

I did BR Bad Girl Work Out dated 9/5 this morning:

Hi Knees with Jump Rope (I didn't use a rope here)
Sandbag Squats (I used 2 fifteen pound kb's instead)
Knee Raises on Dip Station (hello kitchen chairs!)

It was an 18 minute work out. 18 rounds of 10 rest/50 work. Each exercise gets done 6x. Good stuff.

Off to make lunch and get to work.

saturday........just chillin

Hello ladies!
for yesterdays workout I did Step,pump and jump. I was so sore from KPC. I think that was the 1st time doing that workout in its entirety,and i've had that workout for a long time. I had to drop my bb to 15bls for bicpeps curls:eek:

Today It was The Firms Yoga and Cathe's Stretch. The back of my shoulder is still sore.

My Dvd came in today. :D
 
Evening Ladies.

Very late check in for me today and I'm exhausted so it's going to be a fast one!

Here's what I did this morning using the manmakers x3 from The Kettlebell Way Empire State dvd....

50 jumping jacks (1 min)
manmaker series(3 different exercises repeated for 2 mins each with 30 sec rest btwn each)
50 jumping jacks(1 min) followed by 1 min rest
manmaker series (same as above)
50 jumping jacks (same as above)
manmaker series (same as above)
50 jumping jacks (same as above)

Whole thing took about 30 mins and kicked my butt!!! KB weight varied btwn 15, 20 and 30#....I'm gonna be feelin' this one tmrw!:eek::eek::eek:

I pulled something in my Achilles when I did BB2 so I let it rest Th, & Fri. Sat I did the Step Warmup and no impact Hiit and Boot Camp premix from Intensity and abs from Total Body.
Today I'll do Step Pump and Jump (if it feels too jumpy I'll figure out something else).
Wendy, your workouts sound so tough!
I realize that 90 min. workouts are just not doable for me except on weekends. I need to stick with 60min or less. I'll have to pick and choose from Cathe's September Rotation. I can't wait for her Low Impact Series to arrive. I'm out of shape for High Impact stuff right now.

Hey Ladies.

Today I did both work outs from the Kettlebell Bootcamp DVD. I started one this morning but had to stop a little more then half way through. When I went back in the afternoon to finish I wanted to do more so I just rolled right into the other work out. Great stuff. Each work out is only 20 mins so it wasn't overkill. Jut a really good sweaty burn! ;)

Colleen:: 90 min work outs can be tough. I did it for a while on weekends during my STS rotation but could never do it long term. These days I rarely hit the hour mark with my work outs and I am loving it! Short but intense and it's apparently working! :) Take care of that achillies!!!!:eek:

Intense Monday

Gym style back,shoulders and biceps today. I went a little light today to give the back of my shoulder rest,but man Cathe still wiped me out!:eek: biceps and shoulders were screaming :eek:The weight workout is so different from STS..

Colleen,take it easy. Hope everything feels better. How is your son doing?

Y'day was my rest day and this morning I did the Bombshell Butt work out from BR. 15 mins of arse whoopin'! :D Would have liked to add a little something to it but ran out of time since I got a late start. Oh well. :rolleyes:

Gym Styles Back Shoulders & Biceps today. Yesterday no time.
I only used a 25#BB and 8#, 12# DD with an added #15 for the last biceps set.
Then I have myself the luxury of an extra half hour of stretches!;)
