Snazzy ladies check in for september

Good Morning.

Today's work out was short, sweet and kick azz...BODYROCK.tv | Fitness Advice, Workout Videos, Health & Fitness | Bodyrock.tv (Caught Stripping The Fat w/o-12 mins)

I used two 15 pound kettlebells for the squats in part one to make it a 30# total squat and a 20 and 30 pound kettlebell for part 2. I alternated weight loads between the two exercises back and forth so I hit both exercises with both a 20 and a 30# bell. Good stuff!

ETA:: Ok, I have decided that I am going to follow Zuzanna's work out schedule that she posts on the Body Rock site. It's not necessarily doing the work outs in the order that they are published but instead, following HER rotation which includes both new and old work outs. I may not do it on the same exact days as her but I will follow her order of work outs. She posts her schedule weekly it seems. I am starting right away. I will add on other things as I see fit and as time allows. :)

Good Morning.

So in keeping with my "work out w/Zuzanna" rotation plan, I will be doing this today:

I will also add some cardio to it. (ETA: w/o is done. Added about 20 mins of cardio from KC Burn Circuit.)

The swings in yesterday's work out have my legs DOMSING...they've been sore for days but the location is always changing. LOVE IT!:D

What are you two ladies up to?

back from Boy Scout Camp. cold ... no sleep and it was the start of Duck Hunting Season. I thought the Camp was under attack. We were surrounded.
Today was CTX Step Cardio. It was so nice. I feel so much better.:p
Wendy, I still have to go look at the BR stuff.

Colleen:: Good job with CTX step. Funny, lots say they have to check out BR but not many actual do the work outs! Are they that crazy??? :confused::eek::p
 
BR sounds tougher than Cathe! Is it? :eek:
CTX Kick Box and Bi, Very Nice. Some times it's good not to be pushing to the max all the time.
 
Hello Ladies! Another late nite check in,
today it was S&H legs & shoulders. Luv it!
Friday-no workout time just ran out.:(
Saturday and Sunday no workout it was just busy here.

Today I had to buy new bras becuz my bands got to tight,:eek: my cup size is the same,and I haven't gained weight. Did anyone experience this?

Colleen- luved your duck story! too funny.

Did you noticed That The Firm used some of the music that cathe uses in Xtrainers and S&H? I thought that was funny.
 
Colleen:: BR is a totally different style of exercise then what Cathe does so IDT I can accurately/fairly compare the two. Cathe kicks my butt. So does BR....just in less time!

Terina:: Perhaps you've gained muscle in your back causing your band size to increase....I have pics up on FB, btw!

Today's work out will be something called Hot Body by BR. I will add something to it most likely. Just not sure what yet....

Today was BR Hot Body work out as per Zuzanna's schedule. 15 min circuit that looks like this:

side to side lunges
reptile push ups
v up crunch
prisoner squat
knee raise off dip station

The circuit is done 3x thru at 55s max effort per exercise w/5s rest btwn. Finished off with about 7 mins of Tonique Mat exercises done on your back with a 10# DB resting on my pelvis. Didn't take long to feel that one! ;):eek:
 
Checking in with Imax2 with interval 1-5,thats all the energy I had today. I know i've mention this many many x's but I REALLY think the music on this one is the BEST.


WENDY- I saw the pic of your new ball? how do you like it?
 
Hi Ladies.

This morning was BR's Silent Killer Work Out and boy oh boy was it aptly moving! Fast moving weight circuit. Tons of squats, lunges, some ab work and pull ups. OY. I was dripping with sweat when I was done! I was so sweaty that I took one hand off the barbell I was using for squats/lunges on the last set of squats and that side slid right off my shoulder!:eek: Nothing broken including me so it's all good but it COULD have been much worse! :confused:

Terina:: I used the UGI BALL a little bit today and it's cool. I will be able to give a better opinnion in a few days b/c I am going to be doing a BR work out that focuses on using it! Can't wait! :D Good job with IMAX2. One of my faves!

Good Morning.

Today's BR work out was entitled : My Buns Hurt! and this is what it looks like:


Time: 16min.Workout Type: Intervals and CombosExercises: 4
  • Sandbag Lunge Back Press Up & Squat Leg Lift-40 sets total for time
  • Rocket Launchers12 rounds - 4minutes of intervals
  • Kick Ups-20 sets for time
  • Jump Lunges/Mountain Climbers-10/10 seconds x 12 rounds
It was tough and even tougher on my poor sore legs! If my buns hurt tmrw and my legs are still sore I am going to be in serious trouble!:eek: LOL


I did my usual 100 rep jump rope warm up with this and added 5 mins of jump rope afterwards since I had a little bit of extra time.
 
I noticed I didn't check in for wednesday workout =0, I did do S&H chest and back.
Thrusday-no workout
And today I did 30/30,I did pretty good with it this time,I also did STS abs-well I shouldn't say I did because I did a few exercises then I stopped layed there and fell asleep!! for 15 min =0
