Snap, Crackle, Pop!

This is all I hear when I lift anymore. Especially with Core Max--my hip flexors pop with almost every exercise. Last night I was doing concentration curls & my left elbow popped with every rep. Seems like a rock band could record my workouts & use them for their percussion segments.

Getting old is just no fun at all. x(

Ouch! Do your hip flexors hurt, or is it just sound? My right elbow has always popped, as long as I can remember. It doesn't hurt at all, but it will pop over and over and over again, dozens of times. At least the sound is on the beat!

Often that pop is just synovial fluid moving around in the bursa of joints. It is nothing to be concerned about unless you have discomfort along with the sound.

My hip flexors pop like that too at the end of the KickMax leg conditioning drills where you work them.

If it's in the joints, it's also a sign that the cartilage is wearing out. My knees do it - crackle, crackle, crackle. I expect to outlive my knees by many, many years.

Becky-
I cracked up because I just did Kick Max this morning and the drills and my flexors were poppin' away!

LOL!
My shoulders pop sound loud I cant here Cathe talk anymore! No pain thank goodness and nice to know its fairly common!

Shoulders, hip flexors, and knees. SNAP...CRACKLE...POP. It doesn't hurt but it sounds just awful!

My knees always crunch. I have also noticed my shoulders popping when I do military presses, elbows sometimes. Glad I'm not alone.

I really notice the snapping when doing one armed rows with my left arm, same with the 'one legged dead lift' in L&G, left side TFL and ITB pop over the boney prominence (greater trochanter)at the top of my thigh everytime, drives me crazy!x(

It's hard to be gracious about aging sometimes. I've used this Brigit Bardot quote here before but just love it 'it's not so nice to age but lovely to ripen'.:) Considering the alternative I agree whole heartedly:)

Take Care
Laurie:)
