Hi. I weigh 120 pounds and am 5'2. I am looking to lose about 15 pounds and looking into the S&H series. I have the Hardcores and the pyramids would this help and how would I fit them in?THANk you for your great advice!!!
Take care,
SHeri :)

S&H helps increase your strength. After a 2-3 week rotation, I can usually lift more in my other strength workouts. I have read, however, that slow lifting really isn't any more beneficial to you. It FEELS like it's doing more, but isn't really. It just takes more time to complete the workout. I've read that from a couple sources.

If you do decide to use them, I would do a 3 week rotation every few months. When you feel like you're hitting a plateau.

It's a great series and great for building muscle. I'm not sure if it fits in with your goal of losing weight. Given that you are trying to get to 105 and 5 2, I'm assuming you don't want much muscle. I'm 5 2 and 112 (though higher right now) and can't imagine going to 105 and still having much muscle.

I'd recommend others for losing weight.

Maybe you need more cardio? Have you tried any of the cardios from the Intensity or Body Blast series?

Do you like Kick Max? If so, Cardio Kicks or Kick,Punch and Crunch could help push some of that weight off.

LOL, :)

I also read that slow lifting is not any more beneficial than faster lifting. My results defy that theory. S&H is the main series responsible for giving this skinny armed girl some definition, finally! I'm with the others though, I doubt that it would do much to help you lose weight.

Have you tried running?
