Hi Cathe!
I hope you are having a wonderful holiday. I have a question about Slow and Heavy. I've done the Pyramids for about a year (in cycles) and also have done the gym styles for a couple of rotations (and am doing them now until Christmas) After the holidays, I want to do my first Slow and Heavy rotation. I previewed the workouts but because I've never done a slow count workout/rotation I'm not sure where to begin with weight selection. I know it'll take a couple of times to get it right, but can you give me a baseline idea? For instance, if in the pyramids I do 30/35/40 for squats, where might I think about beginning for slow and heavy-- if I do 8/10/12 (per dumbell) for bicep curls, where would I start etc.. is it maybe 10% more of what I normally do? Or 2-5 lbs more depending on whether it is a small or large muscle group?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Susan
