skipping disc and missing segment, uh oh!

I did disc 14 today and it got hung up right after the "lets get started" and then it totally skipped the first set of squats. I could see everyone putting their weights away and then it started working as they picked up the weights for the lunges. I thought my new dvd player must have messed up so I rewound it and played again.....same thing.

Has anyone else had any problems with disc 14 or any other disc? This is my first problem and it didn't have any other problems once it got past the first set of squats.

What to do? I had to pause the dvd while I did the first set of squats on my own and then started up with crew the rest of the way.

Annoying!

ARGGGG!!!
That would be very frustrating.
Mine have all be great except for #12 it skipped 2mins of the warm up. I did the same thing you did...rewind and try again but there was just something wrong with the disc. I just managed on my own and do hope that the rest are ok.
Good luck with yours.

I haven't had any problems yet and I just did disc 17 yesterday. Did you try cleaning the disc? If it still skips after cleaning, try it in a different dvd player. If the problem persists, send SNM an email and they'll take good care of you.:)

Also try playing the disc in another DVD recorder or your computer.. See if the same thing happens.

just a suggestion...

You may have already thought about this, but did you compare the actual workout dvd against the workout card? As you already know, many of these individual workouts are a compilation of new and old segments stitched together (rather seamless for the most part) but the order on one dvd may not be the exact (or even remotely close) to the way the exercises were filmed. If the workout card matches the exercises, then it might just be a little rough in the editing in that spot. if it is really missing portions of the workout or skipping all over the disc, then I would encourage you to contact Cathe's customer support and tell them your problem with this disc and they will most likely send you a replacement no questions asked. I have heard good things about the Customer Service and have always had good luck with any questions or problems.

I would encourage ANYONE that is having trouble with their disc's playing on their players multiple times or are pretty sure that it is the disc that is damaged to contact Customer Service :) I'm sure they do not want their customers to be unhappy with their product or settle for damaged goods. they do take good care of us! ;)

Good luck :)
