If you liked skinny bitch, I would recommend Dr. Joel Fuhrman's new book titled "Eat For Health". It is a follow up to "Eat to Live" which is basically a vegan lifestyle, however the emphasis is more on eating vegetables and fruits as opposed to a lot of tofu and vegan junk food recommended in "Skinny Bitch". A lot of people found his "Eat To Live" book to difficult of a change to make, so his new book "Eat For Health" shows you how to transition into his eating plan. My husband and I have both read all of Dr. Fuhrman's books and follow his nutrition recommendations. I have gotten my cholesteral down under 100, my vision in both eyes has improved, I have no weight issues anymore and I feel better than I ever have in my life. His books address all of the common vegan related questions such as, "where do you get your protein?", "do you get enough Vitamin B-12", etc.
Sorry that I sound like a commercial for the book, but is improved my quality of life significantly.
