i know this has prob been talked about alot before-but i am in severe need of getting a good skin care program going on for my face.i have used mary kay before for cleansing and it did not seem to really get all the makeup off-i actually still use M.K. makeup. But i am not just using cetiphil for cleaning and kurel for lotion-which is prob way too thick.I dont really have any skin problems other than its a little on the dry side-and when it gets to dry it starts to look flaky with makeup on.sooo i am up for some recommendations on some really good skin care stuff.i just ordered some paula choice samples-so i will see how that goes when it arrives.thanks ladies!

Hi,
I highly recommend Arbonne. I do sell this, but I was a user before I sold it. I love it. If you want I can send you a free sample. No strings attached, I promise. Just email me at [email protected]
I used to use Mary Kay also.

Hey Billie,
i have never heard of that line before-i just looked it up online -it looks nice.my email is not working now so i cant send emails....but thanks alot for offering to send samples.can you tell me about the product? how long have you used it? thanks!

I have very dry skin as well. I just switched to the Olay Regenerist products and was noticing how good my skin feels. I'm not using the Olay cleanser, but have been using Moisture White Cleansing Powder from The Body Shop. That works very nice too.

It's definitely important to exfoliate - especially when you have dry/flaky skin. And spray a little NaPCA on your face before moisturizing. Add the moisturizer before the spray dries. This trick has been my saving grace during the long Buffalo winters for years.

I second what Billie said; Arbonne totally changed my skin and I have LITERALLY tried everything out there.....I had dry skin but also some breaking out problems.

And they offer a 45-day money back guarantee on everything so you can't lose!

I was just in NYC visiting friends, and a gorgeous dermatologist friend of hers said that the Regenerest Olay line is the best for results similar to microdermabrasion, and their skin lightener to even out tone is the best they've tested....and they test ALOT.....and she's affluent enough, she doesn't hock supplements or stuff in her practice.....seeing her patients, she knew something!

As for Arbonne, I've tried it, not impressed.....MLM thing ya know?

I use the Olay Regenerist products, too, and I love the way they
make my skin look and feel. They're very affordable, and I buy
them at Target. Also, I like the BeautiControl gold line products.

I love the BWC (Beauty without Cruelty) line sold at Whole Foods or online. It is great! There is a face milk wash that smells so good and is great for sensitive skin. Their lotions are fantastic and all natural. And, they have never tested on animals, which is a great thing. I am really impressed by the whole line.

I use Oil of Olay washcloths for most cleansing [make up removal]. They work very well. If price is not a factor then I suggest the Tracy Martin line. You can find it on line. I use the Alma cleanser in morning, and the face scrub is one of the best products I have ever used. I swear by it! I try to use it 3x per week. Also, add some exfoliation product to your routine. When first begining you may be flaky, but then all will balance out. A trip to the dermatologist for products will save you much time and $$ finding what works. Many offices will sell the product without an appointment too. Try skinceuticals daily moisture {no acid, just moisture].It's light and won't cause breakouts. My skin is very sensative so if i can use it, anyone can. I have my DH and DD both using this!

It's Tracie Martin [not Tracy]

For reasonably priced - I love Arbordoun's Silky Day Lotion for day and the regular cream for night. www.Arbordoun.com.

I also like www.Lush.com for skin care products. I love Imperialis for Summer and Afterlife for the rest of the year. Angel's on Bare Skin is a great cleanser. Enchanted Eye cream is good too.

Origins - I LOVE the Checks and Balances cleanser. Gets my skin good and clean without stripping it. I use their moisturizers, too. The products also try to remain nature and cruelty-free, as well. I supplement with the Olay Regenerist line, as well. They all work - I'm in my early forties and most people think I'm in my late 20s!

Kate Sommerville. Incredible line, I am 40, everyone says I look like I am in my early 30's, hey that ain't too bad right? Also, I swear by StrivectinSD skin serum.
