Skin care line?

Please let us know how you like it. I ordered her foundation just for the heck of it). It was cheap enough so I thought I would give it a shot. I had her book for years, but didn't find it too useful only because rating things with little smiley faces really didn't tell me exactly how good a product was compared to another product. I think I also respected her more when she was just evaluating other products instead of selling her own. Hmmm....maybe I will like the samples and her base. We'll see.

I find the Instyle yearly Top Beauty Products issue to be the most incredible and most useful for finding the best products. IMO, it is usually right on the money and can save you from wasting yours:) I just wonder if Paula will be in it this year;)

Robin:)

Thanks for the tip, Robin. I'll have to get the Instyle Top Beauty Products Issue.

Will you let us know what you think of the foundation, Robin? I think foundation is the key to any make-up line, so if the foundation is good, then the line is good in my opinion.

At this point in my life, I seem to be allergic to colorants on my eyes. I just can't seem to wear eye make-up, yet I refuse to give it up. I'm going to have to do a lot of research to try to find some kind of make-up that I can wear on my eyes without having my whole face blow up. :( This is such a weird problem!

Hey Nancy,

I have a problem w/eye shadows, but only pinks. Pink looks great on me but there's something in there that plays havoc with my eyes.

Robin, when is the Instyle Top Beauty Products Issue published?

I can't use powder eyeshadow--it makes my eyelids start peeling. Can't use the supposedly hypoallergenic brands, either. I can do creams, though. My mom had the same problem.

I know, Bunbun, the term "hypoallergenic" has no meaning to me. All make-ups claim to be hypoallergenic, and so far they all bother my eyelids. I wore make-up ONE day last week, to sit for a portrait photo for my firm's website, and my eye blew up, which caused my cheek to blow up, and I'm still scratching days later!

I think I'm going thru a super-sensitive period right now because everything is affecting me in a very exaggerated way. I've had skin sensitivities before, but nothing like this in my life. I have this feeling that when this "phase" is over I'll be able to go back to wearing make-up again. It's just a hunch, though.

I believe it usually comes out around now (March/April).... I will keep an eye out for it. It is usually a really big one. It is the only issue I buy:)

Robin

Melody,
I don't think it is in this months issue...I checked. Maybe next month;) It will be on the cover for sure.

Nancy,

You'll love the moisturizer - I got this as a sample, and although I normally don't have very dry skin (just occasionally in winter), I absolutely LOVED this stuff!!!! So much so that I bought it just to have on hand for those odd dry days.

I also have skin that doesn't like SPF on my face - that's a surefire way to get a rash. :-(

Anyway, I hope that you like Paula's Choice - I LOVE her stuff, and am a huge fan. Love the website and her newsletter as well. She also has regular sales and specials, so getting the newsletter is a great idea.

Nancy,
Let me know what you think of Paula's Choice when your samples arrive. I don't think I will ever change skin care lines again. I've never been so pleased with a line of skin care!

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Paula's Choice. Best stuff for the most reasonable prices. I use the BHA on my chin where I tend to breakouot (helped a ton), the antioxidant concentrate, cleanser, moisturizer, BHA body moisturizer, shampoo ...my goodness I guess I use the whole line. I also love her pressed powder.
