Six pack wanted

Cathe,

I heard using wieghted ball,on your abs while cruching will help
reduce cellulite,and dimpling .
Is this true?

If so,how much wieght should you start with?
Also how do you get a six pack?
Do you have to lose all your body fat first?
I have about an inch left,do I need to lose that first.

Hi Cheshirechat75! There really is no such thing as spot reducing. But adding a weighted ball to your abdominal program will increase the intensity to your overall fitness program. This in turn will reduce overall bodyfat which of course includes your abdominal area.

The amount of weight to start with will really depend on your current level of fitness. If you are not sure, start conservatively with about 2 to 4 pounds and work your way up from there. 6 to 8 pounds is a fairly intense increase.

A six pack ab is a result of weight training, cardiovascular training, diet, (and good genetics is an added bonus). If you are faithful to all of these areas, at all times, you will see great results which will continue to get greater over time. Good Luck!
