Anyone else laughing at themselves doing this exercise? I had the darndest time trying to get off my chair w/ a leg elevated, maybe my chair is too low... But I have to say I'm lovin' this series! Kay
 
I had the hardest time doing this move. I could barely get my arse off the chair. :confused: Someone suggested that people use the high step, I think set at 14 inches. The next time I do this move, I'm going to try that suggestion and see if it works.

I'm loving STS too. I'm really seeing a change in my body all over.
 
Yes, this was another one of those exercises where I had to get the "feel" of it! I used my high step and had it set at 18". I had measured one of our kitchen chairs and it was 17.5" so 18" was a good height to start with. I also used a light weight to make sure I used good form. Next time I might be able to go heavier...but maybe not!

I did Plyo legs today (disc 26) and the Sit N Stands were in this workout. I used the high step with 8 risers. This worked much better for me. I highly recommend it rather then using a chair.
 
I sit on the edge of my bed and did this exercise with no problems. I initially attempted to do this off my 14" high step and found that this was just too low. Try something higher to get the correct height to do this exercise.
