Donna's thread about underwear made me think of this so now I have to ask...

Who here wears underwear under panty hose and who does not? I ask because lots of panty hose come with a cotton crotch in them so that you don't have to wear skivvies with them but I know lots of women still do...do you?

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't...but probably more often than not, I'd have to say the underwear wins out! lol

Unless it's a really special occasion, that I'm wearing some slinky dress that would show my undie line, I'm wearing undies for sure! A friend of mine gave me a hard time about not wearing g strings with capris. I tried 'em and decided I didn't care that much if people know I'm wearing underwear with my capris.

I do, but I don't know why...(big surprise there, eh?) Know what my Mom used to do? She would wear the pantyhose UNDER her underwear. How weird is that? I think she wore the underwear as a control-top thing. That must have been why. She wore pantyhose with her pants too. You know, if she was still alive, I think I'd call her and pick on her.:)
 
My mom never wears underwear with pantyhose but she tends to wear pantyhose under pants/jeans also. Her sock drawer has always been quite empty coz she hardly ever needs them since she has p/hose on alot of the time!

I never do... I always buy control top hose, though, whether I need them or no, so it's a lot like having undies on, anyway....
 
First of all I absolutely hate panty hose. They never fit right for me. I'm only 5ft and I weigh 138 pounds (hopefully Cathe will help that) and if I get the shorter length they are too tight and I feel like a stuffed sausage but if I get the right size they are do long that half of them are bunched up around my thighs. If I do wear them I always wear underwear. I saw on Oprah that if you wear panty hose without underwear that you are more prone to getting a yeast infection. I usually wear thigh-highs.

I wear them almost every day to work (b/c I mostly wear skirts) and I always wear underwear (T backs for me!). The ones that I buy are control top but they don't have that cotton crotch in them. I can't say why (b/c I am not really sure!) but not wearing underwear with them just grosses me out for some reason.
 
I'm more comfortable with panties underneath my hose. I'd rather not wear pantyhose at all, but what can you do...
 
I'm already dreading the ONE day this whole year I will have to wear them.x( I'm in a wedding in September and the bridesmaids dresses are a little elegant, which is nice, at least they're not hideous. But anyway, I will have my chonies (underwear) under them that day:D
 
I love panties and wear them all the time....with or w/o stockings. I don't care too much for stockings (an old word, I know). Wearing thongs for me is a problem.

1. I don't own too many things that are tight fitting, b/c I had a big problem with crumps (cellulite).
2. When wearing something loose fitting with a thong, the clothing gets caught in my a$$--VERY ANNOYING.
3. If you need to break wind, it's like a band-aid you have to move the string to one side to let out the air or you'll die. Not only that the string bruises my crack......oh it's so annoying.

Call me old fashion but I love my panties, full cut at that.....I think it's a little nasty to go w/o.

The five or six times a year, when I do wear pantyhose, I don't wear underwear. They have a built in cotton crotch and hubby "loves" to know we're out and I don't have any undies on. It's kinda a turn on for both of us.

I'm wearing all the time. I don't care what kinda cotton is in there. It's never up close enough as my undies
