I can't believe I'm posting this, but I can't seem to make up my mind! Do I take my usual really light ballet workout class and then swim? Or do I go to a class at a different gym that is likely to be more challenging but no time for swimming?
I can't decide--and there's a long story behind it that I will bore everyone with.
I take a ballet workout class at my gym every Sunday morning, then go swimming. I love ballet and have been taking classes forever, but I'm definitely in the adult beginner category--I don't have the look or ability of someone who took classes every week starting at age 3.
My current class is fun and really low-key--there's no pressure and it's not filled with people who call themselves beginners but who are semi-pro dancers. I get intimidated really easily. I know I shouldn't--I'm not there to be a pro dancer, just to have fun and exercise. But when I see what dancing is SUPPOSED to look like and then look at myself, I feel like a total jerk for even trying!
ANYHOW....!! (told you this was long)
My current ballet class is fun, but it's so low-key that it's barely a workout, and I know I'm not learning anything in ballet anymore. There's a class at a gym that I used to go to, given at the same time today. Do I go to that instead (and miss swimming, cause I have to meet a friend later today)? Or stick with what I already know? I've been looking for classes on other days, and have always been too chicken to go to them.
Thanks!! Sorry for the sob story--told you this was silly and long! It rots to be so indecisive about things.
