Sidney Sheldon question......

First off, I thought HE was a SHE! LOL I've never read any of his books so I was surprised when HIS picture popped up on his website! :)

I picked up If Tomorrow Comes, on several recs including many from our Cathe Readers!

My question......is this one of a series? I went to his website as well as Amazon and as best I could tell, it's a stand-alone book, but I want to be sure. Because, being the addictive reader that I am, if it's part of a series, I simply MUST start with the first one!

THANKS!

I have never read a book of his that I didn't like. Once I picked up the first one, I was hooked. I think my first was Sands of Time which was more recent and then I went back to his earlier ones. He is the king of suspense and I couldn't put his books down. I usually finished them within a few days. As far as I know, it wasn't part of a series.

I second that. I started reading his books after I saw the made for TV movie, If Tomorrow Comes, read the book and I LOVED it, one of my all time favorites. I love all of his books!! I hope you get as much enjoyment out of it as I did. When you get done with it please let us know what you thought of it.
Have fun!!

Master of the Game is my all time favorite Sidney Sheldon, followed by Bloodlines and lastly, The Other Side of Midnight. (I don't care for his newer ones, sorry!)

I'll second the Master of the Game - FABULOUS book! Another one of my favorites is Rage of Angels. I've read them all and some are better than others, but all in all, I've enjoyed every one.

WOW! Thanks for those suggestions on his other books. I started If Tomorrow Comes, early this morning and got thru 50 pages in about 30 minutes. I'm hooked already. LOL

THANKS for your input, everybody!

Count me as another one for Master of the Game. I could not put it down.

I also agree about the newer ones. They're just not the same.

My favorite will always be the first I read, The Other Side of Midnight. Wow!

I also agree that his later works have not been on the same level, mediocre at best imo..
