Sick Feeling when doing oblique twists????

Cathe,
First off, I want to say, I'm really enjoying these new workouts! Just love them! I think the Body Max 2 Cardio Blast premix is my new favorite step workout!

Anyway, I'm not really sure how to say this so I'll just say it.....whenever I do ab work like an oblique twist with a weight (like in B&G and PUB), I get a sick almost like a pukey feeling while doing them. This is usually the only ab exercise that does this to me. Do you (or anyone else reading this) have any idea why this happens when doing this exercise? It doesn't happen right away....it's usually after doing them for a little while.

Thanks

Not Cathe here, but you might want to look at how soon you work out after you eat. Sounds like a digestive type of problem, that may be helped by leaving more time between eating and working out or by eating something more quickly digestible (like a smoothie) instead of a fuller meal. (I've felt nauseated at times if I do prone stability ball work or ab work too soon after eating).

Thanks both of you...I usually exercise about an hour after I eat breakfast (usually only cereal or something like that) but it could have something to do with it. I'll also try the tums or rolaids next time before I work abs and see it it helps. It so weird because it only happens with that particular exercise???
