Ok, since the TALL PEOPLE have a thread, I thought I'd start this one...
I am 5'1" on a good day and weigh (right now, at higher BF level)136 pounds. When I am working out hard and highly muscle bound I still weigh in at around 134. Problem for me is lately I have wasted all my muscle and gained fat. But anyway, I digress.
So, for us shorties............what exercises are hard??? I still say Push ups are majorly hard for me because I carry a lot of muscle mass in my legs. These things are hard for me, much harder for me than my taller friends (we have had actual conversations about it):
HARD
1. Push ups..but not harder for me than for them, they are just HARD!!
2. Those sumo squats.......OMG! My heart rate goes thru the roof. My taller friends don't know why I am going to have a coronary afterwards!
3.SWIMMING..can't do it! Legs just drop like concrete no matter what I do!!
4. Hiking Camelback Mountain in Arizona, or even Squaw Peak...(it is more like repeling, LOL)
EASIER (could be debated due to me having more muscle mass)
1. Planks/pikes
2. Plie Squats
3. Power Scissors
5. Plyo jump/tuck jumps....pretty much anything highly anaerobic in nature
Ok, another debate: DO BIG BOOBS MAKE IT HARDER FOR YOU TO DO CRUNCHES/SIT UPS??? LOL. No, seriously though. Any short/stocky/stacked people out there?????? HA!
Can't think of anything else right now....what about you guys???
