Has anyone ever ordered anything from www.shoebuy.com? They seem similiar to zappos, but since I've never heard of them, I wanted to check around to make sure they are reputable and have good customer service (or in other words, not another BeachBody!).

Good/Bad experiences?

They have good prices but it seems they take way longer to ship than any other shoe company I have ordered from. That was my only complaint. I believe my Shoebuy order shipped one week after the order was placed where Zappos ships right away...

I use Shoebuy all the time! Yes, they ship slower than Zappos but often times they have better prices too, and good sales. Never, ever had a problem with returns either. I've used them maybe 3 dozen times (dang kids, keep outgrowing their shoes!) I also have used shoes.com; onlineshoes.com; piperlime.com without a problem either.

The only shoe site that was a problem was lordjohnsfootwear.com. They charged me for shoes they never sent and there was zero customer service and I mean zero. No phone #, no response to emails, nothing. I had to go through my credit card company to get my $$ back. I can't even unsubscribe to Lord John's email blasts--they have no way of getting off their list!! They are pure evil...

I had problems with Shoebuy. I ordered a pair of shoes and they estimated that they would arrive 1 week after I ordered them. I waited a week, contacted them and after a few days of nagging them, they told me they did not have the shoes. It was very frustrating because the shoes were for DH who has an extra wide foot. Luckily, they came in at Zappos a couple days later.

Ordered from them twice, with no problems. Prefer zappos b/c you have free shipping back if they don't fit/don't like.

Shoebuy.com; shoes.com; onlineshoes.com, etc. all have free shipping and free returns, just like Zappos. I agree though, that Zappos is fastest for delivery.

Thanks for the feedback! DH already placed his order (without me knowing, that was the whole reason for this post!), so I'm glad most of you have had luck with them. Hopefully his order will come sooner rather than later.
