Shoe help from the fashion mavens... please!

Okay ladies. Help me out here. It's too early for sandals here in Southern Ontario. But I don't feel right wearing my closed in, heavy winter shoes anymore. What the heck do I wear this time of year?

*sigh* I wish I could wear my tight, knee-high, high-heeled boots all year round.

Oh wait you asked for advice from the fashion mavens. That ain't me!! ;) I only came into the thread hoping you had posted pictures of purple shoes you've already purchased!!! :D
 
I won't even try them on! I'm too short. Harrumph.

I like the closed-toe slingback idea, though. :)
 
Shelley, you can still wear the boots, just wear them with more "spring-like" things, I am thinking dresses, skirts with t-shirts and light cardigans...seriously, boots are not out until the temps reach into the 80's right? I am seeing hollywood babes running around in boots.If that means anything!

Also, espadrilles with a closed toe/peep toe look adorable, Oh! Especially with those adorable pants you just bought! Let me see if I can find a cute pair and will post them.:)

I have these in yellow, but thought you might like the black ones! They are actually really comfy because of the platform.:) They have a little peep toe that really is super cute. Please note though, that this pair runs a bit big, I normally wear an 8.5 but ordered an 8 and they fit perfectly.
 
I'm no maven, but for years I wore mules this time of year. Now I'm not seeing so many mules in the store anymore. I'm not sure why, but I think there are still a few around if you look hard enough.
 
I'm no maven. I just wanted to see what shoes are out there besides my super-basic, practical things. Wow. Doesn't anybody wear flat shoes? :7
 
How about mules? They can be seasonally transitional.

ETA - I see Nancy suggested that. Zappos has lots of mules in stock.

Not a shoe maven, either, but I sure like a lot of what I´m seeing. I just bought some beige skechers that would be good for casual.
