Shereta's October checkin

NO workout today. I was up on time but our nephew was lost and had a flat tire on the side of the road with no street lights and lots of traffic. So, DH and I hightailed it over to where he was at 5:30am. I felt so bad for him. Anyway, I did get to work on time and as time has proven - I am not the Pm exerciser.

I want to change that so much. I'm not saying it'll never happen, but it ain't happening tonight. hahahahahahahahaha

My weight is still up to 187.5. But, my cycle just ended so maybe that was the hold up.

I hope to get back to 4ds tomorrow.

Life has been overwhelming me lately, but I"m getting ready to get 4DS Bootcamp Bi/Tri in a minute.

My weight is still up, but my core is noticebly slimmer. I'll take it.

I'll be busy all day, but having fun also.

Okay, workout is done. Burned 843 calories. I really impressed myself with the weights, reps and flexibility during the final stretch. Im definitely improving in all areas. I just wish I could improve in my eating habits. But, I am more conscience of it, so that's progress - right?

I'm feeling really good. I'm now off to have a great day.

Yesterday, I was on my feet so much. Lots of walking, stairs and man, I'm glad its over. I had the energy for it though. Got to bed at 1:30 am and up at 10am. If I hadnt have worked out, I would have not have had the energy to handle it all. It's so amazing how burned calories in the am gives me all day energy.

4DS LIS, shoulders, calves and core completed with a combined calorie burn of 646. Im tired, but energized and ready to eat.

I have another full day, but I should be in bed by 11pm. Let's hope and pray.

Tomorrow s/b 4ds Kickbox and legs.

Hey, Allee, I hope everything works out soon for you.

Today's workout was 4ds KB, legs and core. I only did 3 cycles of legs cause I ran out of time. 662 calories burned.

Not sure what tomorrow will be b/c this evening I start training for a Thanksgiving day 10K. Yep, you read it right. My big butt will be running 6.2 miles on Tday.

Tonight I start off with 3 miles on the treadmill. Some days I'll train on the treadmill, some will be in the neighborhood. I'm excited. I wil still continue a slightly lighter workout schedule on none run days.
 
Alright, here I go: My first 10K training session went well. I ran 3 miles in 45.5 minutes. Yep, 15 minute miles. Not really good, but that's where I am right now. My next session is on Thursday am. I guess running will be my main cardio right now. And I really am okay with dropping my other cardio choices for now. Since I will try to do something everyday, I may add short HiiTs, kickbox and step in here and there. The main cardio for the next 4 weeks is running.

DH is very excited. He thought I was signing up for the 5K. Well, shoot, I did that today. hahahahaha

It'll be full body weights tomorrow.
 
Boy, was I extra hungry today. I snacked and snacked. Mostly good foods, but then we had pizza for dinner and it knocked me out for an hour and a half. I will be up late because of this long nap. But, I will be working on files in the office downstairs so it's all good.

Tomorrow, will be another 3 miles run in the am. I'm excited. I just completed my registration for the 10K. woohoo. Did I say I'm excited? Well, I'm excited.
 
Well, I've been having some problems with my computer at home, so I couldn't for the last couple of days. And, at work, I was just too busy.

Thursday's run was pretty good. I got in my groove quickly and knocked 3 minutes off my 3 miles run. Friday I didn't workout. Woke up late.

Today, I did a 4.3 miler around the neighborhood and finished in exactly 49 minutes. I did walk some. I wasn't sure exactly where the 4 miles end point was so I went a little further and found out later that I had passed it. On MOnday, I will stop at 4.0 for sure. Those hills really got me a few times. But, hey, it was my first time running that long and outside. I could definitely feel a difference. I've already had extra caffeine and a one hour nap. I'm just beginning to feel better.

I still cannot believe I"m doing this. I bought a runners mag today and may switch my running to after work. I'll keep thinking about it. I do like running outside better than the treadmill. Tomorrow, I will buy new shoes.

Tomorrow's workout will be full body weights and then, on Monday another 4 miler. I feel like a 5 ton truck ran over me. yeahhhhhhhhhhh
 
today's workout was not full body weights. It was Circuit Blast. Burned 517 calories and have a little soreness in the inner thighs.

I didn't buy new shoes, but I'll this week to get that done.

I ate pretty well today. I wish I could run in the am outside, but it's just too dark. So, I'll be on the treadmill. I'm still excited.

That runners magazines says I should be adding in yoga a little every other day and doing weights twice a week. Well, I don't know about that, but I'll try it. So Yoga is planned for Tuesday and weights on Thurs.

I fell of the wagon weeks ago. Only did B and G the other day. Still feeling it.

Have you check out the new workout blender? What race are you running for?

I am trying to figure out what to do with my workout and eating habits. Not doing too good.
