Here's a pic of me, 9 months pregnant. I weighed 208 lbs. I was definitely NOT one of those women who just had a little belly sticking out in front.;)

I never knew you were a much bigger size once, but then again pregnancy has a way of doing cruel things to us. I gained about 45 pounds with both of mine. LOL

Charlotte~~

Shelley, you did it again! I will once more have to stop at the library to see a picture you posted. Did I mention how much I enjoyed Sophie's artwork? You as a beached whale I will have to see.

Talking of beached whale, that's exactly how I felt those last 6 weeks. Now I remember why I didn't want anyone taking my picture when I was pregnant.:p

You're biceps babe now, Shellers. And MORE. Be proud.:)

Shelley,

You sort of looked stuck but I didn't want to say that }( ;-)
But Sophie was so worth it :)

Shelley,

That is what DH use to call me over and over again and he ended up being on my most hated list for that time period. Now I look back and laugh. The hardest thing was being pregnant during the summer months and seeing women in bikin's, in mags, etc. and then having the neighbor girl who was a few years younger than DH come over and ask how his wife was doing because she looked like she was getting fat! She had no idea I was pregnant. She had a huge crush on DH and would always come running over to him when ever he was outside.

Charlotte~~

Charlotte - I was about 150 lbs when I got pregnant, after losing 12 lbs from being sick. At my heaviest (not pregnant), I think I weighed close to 170 lbs. I gained 58 lbs with Sophie, but yes, Candi, she was SO worth it.:D

Sophie had colic and it was very stressful, so I very quickly lost all my pregnancy weight and much more. Within about 4 months, I was down to 135 lbs.

Shelley, Thanks for being brave and sharing that picture with us. You looked happy though with that beautiful smile :)

What does Sophie say when you show her this photo?

It floors me the changes the body can endure!! My boss had a baby in November, and she was absolutely huge. I thought she was ready to burst in July!!! All for love, I guess...

I'm glad you think Sophie's worth it!!! :p }( :D

Amy - I just found it in a box yesterday, so she hasn't seen it yet:)

LOL - yes, all for love. And thankfully, NO stretch marks;)

I want to see the picture she draws of you after she's seen the photo, Shellers!! :p

I remember seeing the photo of my mom on the way to the hospital to get me out. I still don't believe it!!! LOL

Oddly enough, I'm most disturbed by your hair... because it doesn't look like you!!!

Shelley, you are too funny! I started out at 110 with my first and ended up at 170!! It was not a pretty sight, heh. I have a pic where I was so large I was resting a tea cup and saucer on the top of my belly. LOL But they are SO worth it.

And I think the most hilarious thing is the dad is cut off the pic!!

Take care,
Marie

Shelley -

Wow, what a picture! Thanks for sharing!!! I think I have burned all of mine! :)

When I was about 9 months pregnant -- I was leaving for work one morning in one of my newly purchased pregnancy dresses (yes, with panty hose and high heels -- I was "trying" to look professional in all of my roundness) it was a beautiful purple suit -- as I was walking out the door my DH said, "Would a Barney reference be inappropriate at this time!"

Even now after I've lost the pregnancy weight - I still don't wear purple! :)

So I say.. better a whale than Barney!! :)

Michelle

OMG Michelle that's hilarious. At this point- I'm sure it was anything BUT funny at the time!!

I hope you never let him forget making that comment. Ugh!!! :p
