HI ladies..

Where is everyone? I looked and didn't see our daily thread. So, I decided to get us started..

Not sure what today's workout will be. On the schedule it says 45 minute run. I may switch the rotation around and do a cardio workout. I will miss some days next week when we go to the inlaws for a visit..I will probably get walking and running in there...

Well, gotta get the kids school lessons done for today..

Today is a rest day,and it's a dang good thing, because these DOMS in my legs are unreal....( again! ) lol I'm so glad I upped my weight yesterday...it was a great workout, and it's so nice to see and feel results!

Good morning! This week is a FF leg blast week, so I did MM this morning. Last night I looked ahead at my workouts for the week and got so excited about it -- crazy, I know, but it's nice to be back to Cathe. And now I am sitting here enjoying a delicious breakfast of jasmine brown rice cooked with quinoa and scrambled eggs. Mmmm-mmm. Chris, the recipes you post always look so good -- I think I may cook that chicken Wednesday. The fog is back here, thank goodness, so I woke up nice and cool. (so I won't mind having the oven on that long!)

Hi Kathy! Iris! & all to follow......

I'm going to try to semi-follow the FF Leg Blast Rotation's IDEAS, and modify due to my foot pain.

Today is SCHEDULED: Power Hour, instead I'm going to do MUSCLE MAX: Upper Body Premix & LEGS & GLUTES: Floor work and perhaps standing weight work (If I can do it). That way I get the mix of Upper/Lower body weight work.

I'm later this morning... Because I decided to try to balance my checkbook. NOT happening. It's so messed up.

So yesterday I got hit with this nasty headache that wouldn't go away. I had nausea too. Kept on taking medicine, didn't get better, so I spent time with my friends Ben and Jerry and they made the headache tolerable and then what do you know, after I was done, I was super motivated to workout. Unfortunately, it was so late at that point I only had so much time but I got in all the step cardio from BM2 which always makes me feel better.

On tap -- Low Max. Going late into work to make it happen.

Hi Beth...must have posted at the same time this morning. Yes you are up WAY early! (or stayed up late???). OMG..that Red Roasted Chicken is sooooo good! It's good on Split Chicken breasts too. But you really need to use chicken with skin, because it absorbs it better tucked under there. Oh my!! So we did similar workouts: I did do MM: Upper Body Premix!

Hottie: Oh I feel for ya on that headache. I get nasty ones like that too. Ones that medications don't touch. Mine usually last a few days though. *shudder* and *knock on wood*!!! I totally understand the need to visit Ben & Jerry too!!

So I managed to do: Muscle Max: Upper Body Premix, Legs & Glutes: a LITTLE of the standing weights and all floorwork w/weights. Power Hour: Abs and stretch! for me!!!

And now I'm off to shower, get to the bank, shop a LITTLE, and balance :)eek::eek:) my checkbook!!!

Hi everyone

WTG on all your work outs. Hope everyone has a good day at work, shopping balancing check book, home schooling. :p

Today I couldn't get my butt out of bed to get MIC done before the kids went to school so I switched things around and did Wed work out today. I went for a 13 mile bike ride with my friend. It was such an awesome morning. God blessed us with some beautiful sites. We rode by this pasture with about 20 horses. I wish I had my camera. The weather her is GREAT!! I would love this weather year round.

Lori, your bike ride sounds heavenly.

Chris, way to go on the workout! That toe is not slowing you down!! Ok, I can't wait to try the chicken. I know you've posted other recipes I want to try.... maybe I'll go look because I've got to figure out something to make for dinner tonight! The dinner grind....

And, I get up a little before 5:00 -- that's not so early, is it?

Lori - a bike ride sounds so nice right now! You live in MA right? It must be around the time when it starts to change from that sticky summer to a cool fall right? Ahh...seasons...

All this talk of recipes makes me so hungry! This last week and half because of the way things have turned out, I haven't cooked at all. Sometimes DH did but mostly eat out, left overs, and microwaveables. My body starts begging for my food. Not only am I craving curry, but lamb curry (my parents are from India). Now, I'm just going to have to pick some lamb up on the way home today.

My workout was eh. I have an issue with stiffness in the morning but it was pretty extreme. I had to quickly shift to the LowMax step premix instead of the blasts which makes me really unhappy. I stayed in a steady state heart zone so I got some burn going but maybe I'm coming down with something. My mood is off, headaches, and my body doesn't want to move. Now, I'm just going to get a couple other things done before work but I'm still a little dissapointed in myself. Maybe DH and I can workout when we both get home tonight. (but not if we have lamb curry because we'll be too stuffed...)
 
Greetings All!

Checking in very late it has been quite a busy day thus far for me .

I may not be able to hang around online today as I have loads of things to do ... actually just got done doing a major cleanup of the bathrooms here.

Not fun although my kids are in charge of taking care of their bathroom it never gets done to my standards so after I did our master bath; I went and redid the kids bathroom. That in itself was a UB workout with all that scrubbing on those glass doors ugh.

Anyways lets see how long it stays that way :mad:

After having go back & forth this morning --- seems today was a day someone forgot something for school, plus my DH was called for jury duty so I had to keep my car (just in case my lil one's asthma flares up and I get a call) which meant I took all 3 kids to 3 different schools. My DD usually grabs dh's car for her morning classes if he gets here before she leaves.

Like I said its been a busy Monday here.

I was able to do my workout today thankfully - Hardcore Interval Circuit - 1st time I've ever done that one and it was a goodie.


I totally forgot to do my PU challenge today but I did do pushups along w/ Cathe so I worked them nicely but plan on doing the PU chal. tomorow

Hottie and Beth The bike ride was great! If my friend wanted to ride longer I would have. Yes Hottie I do live in MA and we are starting to see signs of fall here. I'd have to say Fall is one of my favorite seasons. I think Chris could back me up about the weather here today. :D

Hi girls! I'm sorry I haven't checked in. I'm so busy right now. I wanted to check in really quick to let you all know that I did MIC and that workout is a killer. I have also been working with Stepitup making a list of the premixes of the DVDs so that SNM can add them to the workout manager. Now I have to cook dinner. Today was MOPS and it was a busy day. Tomorrow I have to work and have an appointment to the cardiologist. I'll let you all know how it goes. I won't have time for personals till Wednesday. I hope you all have a wonderful day! I'll check back with you all tomorrow if I can :)
 
Hi everyone..Just got back from PE class. I teach a PE class for my kids and some friends kid that homeschool. It is fun..I got Legs & glutes done today...Tomorrow says rest on the rotation. But, I just had 2 of those. So, I am changing the schedule around a little and I may do Imax tomorrow instead..

Sounds like everyone was busy here too.

I wasn't per se BUSY, I actually had a nice day. I got my checkbook balanced thanks to DH (I did something SOOOO stupid, I put the WRONG number as my statement's ending balance... THAT's why it was so off . Secondly, I got all my bills paid. Tomorrow is going to be my "Make Doctor Appointments" day. I need to make a GYN for me, an EYE exam for Zach, and 3 physicals for the boys. i should do a dermotologist for me aND and eye exam, since I never had either before. But that might be pushing it...

: Your bike ride today sounds devine! And yes, the day was GORGEOUS out ... I was lost looking at the blue of the sky and the big puffy clouds!!

Beth: So you weren't up at the crack of dawn (well kind of!). Hope you get to make that chicken!

: Sorry LowMax wasn't so good for you. I hate when workouts turn that way. I haven't done "curry" so much, but it sounds good!

Ivy: Good to *see* you! You are busy busy busy today! MIC is KILLER! Hi-5's on getting it done today!

Kathy: your PE class with the kids must be fun! Glad you're feeling better, esp. to tackle IMAX tomorrow!!
