Working on 5 hours of sleep and I'm tired.

The Viper and my PU challenge is on tap for me today .

I plan on doing it all once I get my energy back

for now I need to pack some lunchboxes...

Good morning Vilma and all that follow.

Today is BM2 and I’m looking forward to it. I hope I can make it though, lol. I really need to do Cardio Blast rotation because before I was so good at cardio and now that I’ve mixed a lot of weight training my cardio level isn’t the same, now it seems like I can’t do it as much as I used too, so I need to get back to cardio for this month. I hope you all have great workouts! I’ll BB later J

Vilma: Enjoy your workout today! I didn’t sleep good last night, and my ds woke up early today. I’m tired too.

Well I did LowMax this AM. Another Fun one. Why is it that Cathe and Crew don't even look like they are sweating? I am also going for a LONG walk not really sure what that means my friend said lets do a long walk after the kids get on the bus. I do know that it will be more than 4 miles. I can't wait. :eek:

Is everyone back into the swing of things with the school schedule? So far so good for us. The boys leave at different times. 2 gone and one to go. I am trying to get my 10 year old to do things on his own. Like get his back pack ready and his gym clothes. He still wants me to do everything for him.:mad:

HI everyone..Still no rotation. I guess I will have to figure out my own workout today too..

Lori: I was thinking of Lo Max this morning too. Or Low Impact step...Enjoy your walk..

Vilma: I LOVE the viper and the other 2 on that DVD..I may do that tomorrow if we don't have a rotation posted. Hope you have the energy..

Ivy: BM2 is a toughie too. Good luck with that. I liked last month's rotation. Not sure what I will do if Cathe doesn't post something. I guess do my own thing..I just hate having to decide which workout to do..

Ok, Like I said..I think I am going to do Lo Max today...
 
Kathy I hate trying to decide what to do too. I've been following her rotations now for 2 plus years. I guess I didn't realize how much I depend on Cathe's rotations. May be we need to pray that she posts one. Power of prayer. :D
I still don't know if I am following FF leg blast rotation or if I will go back and find one of Cathe's old rotation. If I remember correctly I think I like Feb 08 rotation.

Today is going to be a tough day for me, because I have a meeting from 10-1:30pm at work. And there's 45 minutes each way travel time to figure in. So I'm going to have to squeeze in a workout as soon as I get home, and before the boys get home from school. It's going to be hard! But I can only do what I can do, if I don't get the entire workout done, so be it.

I'm joining some of you in Low Max! Gonna feel the lower body burn today, those lunges off the step stick out in my mind for some reason.....

Oh yeah, Lori, I swear, Cedie is ALWAYS smiling, no matter what workout she's doing! Sometimes I try to smile too!! I must be comical to watch!

Good morning ladies!! Today was an extra early morning. Band is starting up again for my oldest and that means getting him to the bus stop by 7:00 on Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. Messes up my workout time!! :( I did get in Legs and Glutes. Wanted to do some ab work, but Caitlyn woke up and the dog was being goofy, so I called it a day. As soon as I lay down my mat, the dog decides she has to lay down on it. She was also putting her two front legs up on the high step and barking at me like she wanted to play. If it's not the kids, it's the dog!

Chris, ugh, I hate those long meetings. Hope you can squeeze in a workout. Even if you just do the first 4-5 combos of LowMax, it's still a good workout.

Lori, join Chris and I in FF's rotation! So far (all of 3 or 4 days!) I like it. I just started following rotations when we started up this thread, maybe 6-7 months ago? I feel lost if I'm not following now and I never used to follow any. Makes me push myself. Enjoy your walk! I understand about your 10 year old. I'm still trying to convince my almost 12 year old that, yes, he can put his own waffles in the toaster and make his own breakfast!

Hi Kathy, LowMax seems to be a popular one lately! That's actually on FF rotation for tomorrow for me. See you could jump right in with us! ;)

Ivy, good luck with BM2. I'm really spent after that one. It's fun, though.

Vilma, the Viper sounds fun. Hope you get the energy to tackle it! I know, losing sleep is no fun. I'm so cranky when I don't get enough, which is way more often that it should be!

Caitlyn seemed to enjoy her first day. I kept grilling her with questions at dinner. She was all excited - showed me all her papers she got and had stuff for me to sign, of course. I asked if she made any new friends and she told me, "well, lots of kids talked to me, but I'm not sure which ones I'll pick to be my friends." :0 Then Ian says, tell mom about the green light. Her face fell. I guess she got in trouble for talking while the teacher was talking. Then she goes back to her backpack and takes out a crumbled sheet of paper that shows she got a green light. I guess she was going to try to hide it. All the kids start in the "parking lot" - if they misbehave they get a green light, do it again, get a yellow, then a red and a detention. She was pretty upset - we told her it was OK, it was the first day, but she needed to listen when the teacher was talking. I did have to laugh a bit when she left the room - in trouble already on the first day!! I was worried she would be too shy, well, I guess that's not a problem!

Good Morning Ladies...:)

Today I did Butts and Guts, the Floor Work and Abs Premix...I still have DOMS from Sunday's GS....so I wasn't thrilled about deadlifts and squats again...lol

Joanne- is your son in the marching band? what does he play? I can't believe school has started again...it seems wayyy too early...

Boingo- LOL @ you smiling too...I do the same thing! I pretend I'm in the video just so I can get through it! lol

Lori- good job w/ low max! I don't know why I have such a hard time doing that in it's entirety....

Ivy- Have fun w/ BM2!

Joanne: I just may have to join you guys on that rotation..My dog does that too. Everytime I get into my workout he has to go outside...Ugh!!

Chris: hope you get that workout in today..something is better than nothing.

Lori: I was thinking of doing an old rotation too.
 
Iris, no, it's not a marching band. He's in 7th grade and they just do a couple concerts a year. He plays the clarinet and loves it. I think they go on a couple trips this year, though. That's a good idea - pretend you're in the video to keep going! Sometimes I feel bad for the background exercisers. They must be dying, but they have to keep smiling!

Kathy, my dog will act like she has to go out too. I let her out and she stands at the back door and stares at me! I think she's trying to tell me to take her for a walk instead of working out at home. I've gone running with her before - I should start trying to take her out again. It's funny - when we start out she has way more energy than me, but by the end she's the one huffing and puffing and slowing down.
 
Joanne, your kid totally sounds like me! I love her!! My dog who had passed away before college, god bless her soul, was very good at communicating what she needed...like the, "if you don't let me outside RIGHT NOW I'm so going to go on the persian rug and I'm thinking Mommy is going to be mad at both of us" but my favorite was that when I would do my homework (I don't like desks so I work on the floor) she would always sense when I would get frustrated with a class and would just go and sit on all the books and papers for that class. Gosh, I miss her so much!

Vilma (and others) how do you work out when you're so tired...and the Viper?!? Those are my, I'm just going to do long low intensity days because any more mental concentration will make me fall.

Lori, I have to say now that you guys got me to do LowMax the other night, I want to do it again but I want to let my body recover a little bit more than it has. But as for them never sweating -- it gets to me too sometimes. I think its just the multiple takes they've spliced together where they aren't sweating (I love it when Cathe's back is drenched in one section of KickMax and it the next combo she's dry). But at least they're not putting fake sweat on them to make it look more real.

Chris -- you know, Ms. Boylan (Cedie) always had that big smile in school..except when she was furiously pissed. I do remember that pretty well...

Kathy -- I think I'm going to decide what to do in the next five minutes. I stayed home later this morning so I could work out but all I've done is munch. I'm debating between Step Blast and C&W. (I'm just wondering if I'm going to do weightlifting with DH later tonight or not.)

Ivy -- you turned me onto BM2 and I love you for it. Which one is the cardio blast rotation?

Been having motivation issues...not sure what I'm going to work on...

Did my 23 PUs on my toes yay! And The Viper --- this was my 1st time with the Viper and man Kathy I know why you love that one - it's fun! I was dripping sweat all over my mats and wow I burned 653 calories no wonder I was guzzling water and sweat flying off me ----oh what a great workout!

Ivy I hope you find your energy. The reason why I didn't get much sleep was that I had to play taxi at midnight since my DH was out of town and we only had one car...my DS had a cross country meet and I needed the car so I dropped off and picked up.

Lori I found my energy and actually The Viper was fun...I really enjoyed it.

Its so funny about the crew - they always have smiles on their faces it seems.

Enjoy your walk and so far my 10 yr DD is doing plenty on her own , she makes her salad for her lunch the next day and I'm showing her how to sort her clothes as soon I'll be teaching her to do her own laundry as it is I wash and fold but everyone needs to put away their own clothes and I don't do socks so they all have to match them up.

Chris Don't stress it if you can't fit in your WO sounds like you will be super busy today, if anything enjoy LowMax I did that one yesterday and it was a good one.

Your DD sounds very asute about who she'll pick as friends and you say she's only 5? Wow !

Hottie Keep listening to your body only you know whats best for you and when I'm tired I rest up if I still felt tired after my nap I would've just gone out for a nice walk instead and called it a day.

Vilma: I need to do some of that Clean max too. But, not sure what I feel up to.

Joanne: The dog scratched to go out 3 times while I did LoMax today. He goes a little and then wants to come back inside. I think he is thinking the same thing as your dog. we used to walk him every morning. We need to do that again!

Hottie: I chose C&W yesterday when I did not what workout to choose! Not sure about tomorrow..decisions..

Well finished with LoMax and got my shower. Now, gotta dry me hair and take the kids to the library..

BM2 ROCKS!

Hello!

Today I did BM2 and it was AWESOME!! I just bought me a cheap home theater thing and the music was blasting and that gave me boost to keep pushing on! I had a great workout today! Tomorrow is suppose to be a 30 min run, so I might do some stepping for 30 mins or so, don’t know which one yet:rolleyes:.

Lori: BM2 was awesome! I didn’t work today, but thank you! I only work Tuesday’s and Thursday’s:). Then I got to my MOPS every other Monday. Things are going smoothly here with school schedule too.

Kathy: WTG on LM. I haven’t done that one in like FOREVER, lol. I also hate thinking of which workout to do each day when not following a rotation.

Chris: Have fun with LM. Even if you can do a short LM workout, it’s better than nothing :)

Joanne: After BM2 I’m so tired! I’m glad tomorrow’s workout should be an easy one :). Green light over here at my DD school means she had a great day, and yellow means warning, and red means note to the house. I’m glad Caitlyn enjoyed her first day of school :).

WTG on BM2 Ivy -- you did the whole thing again! You rock. The music is just so awesome in that DVD that it keeps me pushing even when my HR is so high. Thanks for the link...it looks good (but hard!!!).

On a quick note, I just downloaded Google Chrome and the first website I went was this thread. :)

Thanks! :D I know what you mean about the music on BM2, that music rocks and it does help to finish the entire workout. I hope that the next dvds that cathe comes out with Cardio has AWESOME music like that. Is Google Chrome also for XP?
 
Good Afternoon!

So I made it! Oddly enough, I got to work, and was all ready for 10am, and NO ONE WAS THERE! Come to find out I screwed up the times. It was 10:30am - 1pm! So we actually got out of there at 12:30. (The meeting was about the new barcode system we're going to be using for giving patients their medications. You scan the medication and scan the patient, to make sure they match up!...Kind of cool, in a way, in another way a PIA... like in the middle of the night, when you're trying to NOT wake the patient up! Hellloooo!! )

Anyhow, I got out early... Ran to Staples to get hard to find School MUST HAVES (I hate those on going school lists too! ), and then home! Ate some fruit on the way home, and then I jumped into my workout clothes and into Low Max! Yet another "deterrent", though. the phone rang at the end of the warm up. It was my brother, who I chatted to for about 10 minutes, and then back to Low Max! That workout is a lower body KILLER ! Esp. after Muscle Max yesterday!! This is the first time I've ever noticed the 7 sculpter repeaters ACHING so much! Never mind the 15's!! on FIRE !!! I have to comment, I love the color of their tops in this workout. (the blue ones). I want one!!! (Beth.. wasnt' that the color of your top posing with Cathe?)

So now I'm running around, trying to find a quickie supper recipe. Which I found! Some kind of creamy pasta, tomato, spinach thingie. And I have a salad leftover from yesterday.. shouldn't be too bad...

I'll come back to "chat" after supper... Better get my procrastinating buttocks moving !!

 
Ok, ok, wait a minute.... hold the phones..... Hottie, did you go to school where Cedie is the PE teacher? How did I miss that? What a hoot! Tell us more!

Chris, I think my shirt is a slightly different blue, though it is an oh my bod shirt.

I really need to be cleaning.....

yep, Google Chrome is for XP too. It's really fast but its still beta so there may be bugs. I've been comparing it to FF and it beats it on speed hands down for most of the sites I visit.
