Hi Ladies,

Just getting us started. I haven't seen Cathe post the sept rotation yet, so I think I might just go ahead and do Cardio Blast rotation. Today is SJP and I'm looking forward to it. Today I won't be able to check in again because we are having a BBQ with some neighbors here at my house. I hope you all have a great workout and day!:D
 
Good Morning
Yesterday I did GS legs and went as heavy as possible really pushing myself. Slow motion lunges with 10lbs I about DIED!! But i did it!! Then CM 1. Today will be cardio, not sure what though.
Ivy, have fun at your BBQ. Where's cathes rotation;)??
 
Good Morning Ivy, Randi, and all who follow!

It's been a looonng weekend, so glad its' over!!
I'm still on the first week of fitnessfreak's Muscle Building and Staying Lean Rotation. Today is GS Back/Bi's and Shoulders...and i'm scared because I got major DOMS from the other workouts!

Ivy- I love SJP! Greattt music (Kung Fu Fighting is officially my fave song in Cathe workouts...lol)

Randi- I did GS Legs yesterday as well and pushed it on the standing work, so by the time I got to the floor work I was totally fried, and had a reallllyyy hard time w/ the ball work...and the DOMS in my hammies are unbelievable.

Great job Iris on GS Legs!! I feel ya on being fried!! I'm just started the One hundred push up challenge. I want to be able to do all those push ups in STS. I started off in the 3rd column which was advanced so I know I can do it!!!(i hope:)

I think I'll be doing Debbie's Circuit Rotation for this month since Cathe seems late posting and it looks like I'll be starting it tomorrow.

I didn't go to bed until way past 130am (I couldn't sleep & was waiting for DD to get home as she was closing the store last night; she didn't get home until after midnight) and just got up...need to run into town and pick up my son's birthday cake, get the house ready for his other friends to come by this afternoon which means I probably won't have the time or space to workout.

They'll be using the family room aka my workout area to hang out; I could WO in my bedroom but DH will be sleeping so yeah - bummer.

and so it goes........ :confused:

So I guess I get another rest day ugh and I need to watch what I put in my mouth as all the crap I've been eating lately showed up on the scale pffftt.

Good morning everyone I was little bummed when I saw that Cathe still has not posted Sept rotation.:( I guess they are busy with their Labor Day weekend plans. I hope they post it soon so I can decide what I am going to do this week/month.

I really didn't know what to do today for a workout so I pulled out one that I haven't done in a very long time CTX All step. Not a hard workout out. it was fun and I really like the ab workout at the end.

Randi enjoy your cardio today I hope you legs can push through it after that tough leg work yesterday. WTG on pushing yourself. Isn't a great feeling once you complete it.

Iris GSBBS is one of my top five. I love that one. I also have a hard time with the ball workout on GS Legs.

Vilma have fun with all those boys today. Maybe you could sneak away for a walk or something. You might just need a little break. Will DH be home while the boys are there?

We are having a small cook out today. Happy Labor Day to everyone.

I have no clue what workout I'm going to do today! :)

Ivy, have fun with SJP. I like that workout but I'm not so keen on the hi/lo floor.
Randi, have you decided what kind of cardio? Do you like to mix up your cardio workouts?
Iris, enjoy your workout -- at least you have DOMS in another part of your body than the one you're working on! DH says he wants to try that workout next too.
Vilma, take pleasure in the day off and I hope you have fun with your friends. Eating is fun too...I swear sometimes that my real motivation to getting fit is so I can eat whatever I want without worry.
Lori, Cathe was on last night and I was interested to see what she would put in the rotation, but alas. Have fun at the cookout!

Seriously though -- have no real clue what I'm going to do. I need to have worked out and showered by the afternoon since I have to go to lab by then but I have the morning too myself and most of the home is cleaned already. I was thinking about putting in a new DVD to learn something with the extra time I have but then I'm not sure if I'll quit out because I have to stop and pay attention to figure stuff out. And knowing me, I'll spend more time wondering than working out! I think I've decided to go low impact so I'm either going to do LIC, LIS, or learn LowMax. Any feedback to help me decide would be great (I'm leaning to the last two).

Hottie, I'd vote for low max, too. It's fun, and it fries your legs unexpectedly.

What a funny set of women we are -- can't decide what to do, change our mind, etc. I thought I was going to do drill max cardio, but last night I looked at it to remind myself what equipment I might need, and I realized it was just too similar to boot camp which I did yesterday and I just didn't want to do it. So then after Hottie had so much fun with BM2 cardio, I decided to check that out. That's it, that's what I'll do I thought. Well, this morning I woke up and those plans went out the window and I ended up doing slim series shape it up. It's funny how much mind changing we do. I can't wait to see what Cathe posts but I do like the looks of FF's leg blast rotation. Vilma, you decided to do her circuits, eh? I'll check that out again, too -- maybe I'll do a week of each! :)

We have more chores on tap for today, but friends are coming over later to cook for us. Whooo-hooo. Have fun.....

Hi ladies...just wanted to check in quickly...I decided to go with FitnessFreak's Sept. leg rotation. It looks really good. I like how she put in lower body floor work on the upper body days. So, I started out with Muscle Max.

The kids are all hungry and cranky...so I'll try to get back later.

Well the boys are in da house and having fun - which is what it's all about. Oh and I just wanted to add a special female friend of my son's --- she is too darned cute! - petite sweet Chinese girl who has been in this country for a few years and my son's friend since they were in 7th grade ----awwww.

I ended up going to my DD's room to do my PU's for today so at least I got that done, if I have the energy and find the time this evening I'll do LowMax if not then tomorrow.

I was good and did not have any birthday cake, or chips, or soda :D

Granted it's still in the house but I have no intentions to eat any of it after today's weigh in lol

My lips feel dry and my hands are a bit tight so I'm thinking I 'could' be retaining fluids from the salty fish I had yesterday plus my 'twins' feel very hurtful and swollen so perhaps to extra weight can be aunt flo . LMAO yeah I'm rationalizing so I'm off to gorge on water to flush it all out soon.

Sounds like a plan ---right?

Ugh!!!!! I'm soooo torn as to what workout to do?!!?

Should I (a): Start FF's Lower Body Sept 08 rotation? or:
(b) do a generic cardio while waiting for Cathe's?

Decisions, decisions......

I guess I'll do a generic cardio, I can always adjust for tomorrow.
And I think I'll make it "Scrambled Cardio Blast" from Drill Max, since I missed DM from last month's rotation....

We need direction, here, us rotation followers!! :confused:

Hottie, isn't it crazy?! And the funny thing is, many times I have done it infrequently enough that I completely forget how much it fries my legs. I think the last time I did it was the day after GS legs or B&G -- something like that -- so the torture is finally ingrained in my memory. :)

C'mon Chris, join me for FF Sept. rotation! ;) Please?? I need some inspiration! Just kidding - I understand waiting for Cathe's. If I like it better when she posts it, I'll switch over. I'm going to do the Drill Max scrambled cardio tomorrow instead of the ultra premix. I'm sure Cathe is enjoying the holiday with her family.

Randi, I love the combos you come up with. I'm not so creative!

Vilma, I'm kind of feeling the same as you today. Unfortunately I'm not being as disciplined with my eating! Ugh! Good for you for getting in a workout with the boys there.

Lori, hope your cookout is going well. My DH worked last night so he's sleeping and the kids are at a neighbors. It's so hot out I don't even want to be out. I'm getting old! The heat really bothers me. I think I'm ready for fall.

I made it!

I ended up doing the Scrambled Blast DM Premix. It was a good sweat , would you guys consider the Cardio Premixes from DM, interval cardio? I also added on Ab Hits #8 (from Step Heat). Very traditional crunches, but my abs were on fire at the end!

Ivy: Hope you enjoyed SJP today! I think a cardio blast rotation after lower body is a good choice for you. Enjoy your BBQ too. We're grilling out as well, just for our family. Zach's birthday dinner choice is : Ribs & Corn on the cob! I'm going to make some birthday Brownies, and ice cream for dessert. I need to BE GOOD w/ eating, because YESTERDAY, for take-out, I had Hawaiin Pizza (Oh my, that is GOOD stuff!)

Okay, off to shower and then to cook for birthday boy!! My middle son's birthday is tomorrow (he'll be 9)!! Lots of brownie baking gonna be happening....

Ok, I know I'm crazy to suggest this, and most likely wrong, but maybe the reason Cathe isn't posting a rotation is because STS will be in our mailboxes tomorrow! Yeah, right..... :)

That would be nice Beth..I have a feeling that is not the case. LOL

I decided I needed a rest day today. I am waiting for the rotation to be posted. I had a lot of things to do around the house anyway..
