Sept rotation week 3

JAFitMama

Cathlete
OK, time to start week 3. This week has 7 straight days of working out and 4 consecutive days of step. I will modify to add variety to the cardio and double up to get it all in in 6 days. Most weekends it is a struggle to get in one workout, and two would be very difficult.

Rotation as posted:
WEEK THREE:
Mon: Step Fit
Tues: MIC
Wed: Step Works
Thurs: Step Heat
Fri: PS: CST
Sat: PS: Leg abs
Sun: PS: BBA plus 15 minute flexibility workout

My modification:
Monday: KPC & PS chest
Tuesday:treadmill run & PS shoulders
Wednesday: cardio choice & PS back/abs
Thursday: step & PS biceps/triceps
Friday: PS legs & Abs
Sat: 15-20"stretching/ abs of choice

Mondays workout was 70", I will try to keep the cardio to 45" each of the other days to allow for 5-10" stretch and the designated body part.

Hello,

I don't have most of the workouts for this week, so here is my modification:

Mon. 9/20 – L&G + abs + lunchtime run
Tues. 9/21 – Cardio Kicks + abs
Wed. 9/22 – Boot Camp + lunchtime run
Thurs. 9/23 – IMAX2 + Abs
Fri. 9/24 - Leaner Legs + PLB stability ball segment
Sat. 9/25 – Circuit Max
Sun 9/26 – Yoga

I may switch IMAX2 with a CTX workout or C&W because they incorporate upper body and I'm a little thin on that this week.

I've lost a pound and about 1/4" all over. Hopefully this week will yield better results.

Hi ladies! I am actually starting the Sept rotation today and thought I'd say hello and see if anyone had any good advice or input on this rotation. Tonight is MIC, a workout I fear very much. ;) I am doing week one as posted and making modifications to week two. This is my first Cathe rotation (the rest all seemed impossible) so wish me luck!

Christine

Hi Everyone,

I loved week one, missed a few w/o of week 2 so I am not really on schedule with the September rotation at this point. We are struggling through a family crisis (father-in-law requiring in home hospice care due to cancer) therefore my workouts aren't what they usually are.

I really want to focus on lifting wts and may switch to the pyramids for that. And since I will be traveling for 2 weeks in October following a rotation is more than I can handle right now. Yesterday I did HSTA and this morning was Imax 2. If you don't mind-I'll continue checking in-keeps me motivated to see what everyone else is doing.

Welcome Christine! It is always nice to follow a rotation and I'm sure you'll do great. For me anyway, the best part about rotations is that you use all your Cathe vids and dvd's. Before doing rotations I found myself doing my favorite w/o's and missing out on a lot of variety. Good Luck with MIC-one of my very first Cathe's. you'll do great.

Welcome Christine.:) I actually find that it is easier to follow a rotation than just picking something at 5 am. This month's goal is overall fitness and I am seeing an improvement.

Gosh Diana, I am sorry to hear about your father-in-law. We just went through the same thing with my dad, and I can tell you that the home hospice was a great relief. Good luck.

Hey Judy, through recommendations on this board I went and bought Bryan Kest's 3in1 yoga dvd. It is great. One hour a week on my rest day and my muscles really love it.

Glad to see so many people checking in.

Hi Christine! welcome to the Sept check in group. It is nice to talk to Cathe enthusiasts.

Diana I am sorry about yu FIL, just getting in any workout under the circumstances is commendable. Getting that time to yourself is a positive activity. Just do what you can:)

Shopgirl thanks for the yoga tip. ;-)

Hey ladies - thanks for being so welcoming :) My fitness buddy and I are very excited to do this rotation (her computer is broken so she can't check in just yet).

I did my first two workouts for the Sept rotation and I feel great! Tomorrow morning is Imax2, which is a workout I normally save for a weekend when I can blast the music, etc., but my darling is out of town so I can get it in the morning without bothering anyone!

I was pooped this morning so I just did 10-10-10 and LL abs. I'm feeling guilty, but tomorrow is Boot Camp and a lunchtime interval run, so I guess everything evens out in the end.

Hope everyone is doing well.
Shopgirl :)

Hey shop girl we have to listen to the signs and symptoms our bodies send us. So if you need a lighter day, take it
:) Besides Boot Camp and a run in one day is strenuous.

I need to feel less sore and tight. I did my treadmill run and an old PM yoga tape I had. Then PS shoulders and later a hilly walk (golf)

Tomorrow if I am still very tight and sore, I will do Karen Voights Yoga sculpt and PS bi's and tri's.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the encouraging words regarding my ill FIL.

Like I mentioned yesterday, I really want to focus more on lifting wts. I have about 15lbs to lose to get back down to my goal wt at ww-of which I am a lifetime member-so there are no excuses for me! Therefore, this morning was PUB and I'm thinking of looking at the max wt loss and definition rotation. Although now may not be the best time to start a rotation-but some workout is better than none.

Take care all,

Diana
